Ella didn't get texts or calls from Robert. She didn't go to work like he had asked and Amara was going to school.
She felt lonely. His presence, laughter and the scent of his perfume wasn't around anymore. She wanted to call but pride wouldn't let her...
I can't let anyone know my past, its too dirty, she thought. He might reject me
after hearing my dirty past.
She decided that she'd pay a surprise visit to his apartment after going to work.
"Hello Ma'am." Her staff greeted as she walked into the office.
"Hello." She greeted and walked into her office.
"Where's Uche?" She asked a staff.
"She is not feeling well ma'am.
"Oh, okay then." Ella said and continued with work.

Ella stopped at Robert's place.
"Hello madam." The gate man greeted.
"Hello. Is your Oga in?"
"Yes, with someone Ma." He replied.
"Oh okay." Ella said and stopped the car and went into the house.
"Robby." Ella called and stopped dead in her tracks.
She saw a lady sitting on Robert's lap and caressing him.
Robert pushed the lady off him.
"Ella I can explain." He started.
"So this is the reason. No calls or texts because you're seeing another woman." Ella said and covered her mouth.
"Ella its not what you think."
"I was a fool to trust you after all I have gone through. You hurt me." Ella cried and ran out.
"Ouch." The lady said and smiled. "Too bad for the little darling."
"Cassandra, you're my ex wife for crying out loud. You said it was over. We got a divorce like you wanted. It's over Cassandra."
"Well," Cassandra said caressing him. "I still want you."
"Well I don't want you Cassandra. I want Ella. You could as well get out of my life." He said and took his car keys to go after Ella.
"We'll see." Cassandra said and relaxed on the chair, crossing her legs.
