Chapter Eighteen

There was a knock on Ella's door.
Amara was around, so she went to open the door.

"Where's Ella?"

"Who are you?" Amara asked. The man pushed her away and went in.

"Ella, come out here." He shouted.

"Who are you?" Amara asked again and he kept on ranting.

Ella came down the stairs.

"What the hell is going on?" She asked.
She saw him and gasped.
"Daniel."

"Yes, Ella."

"I don't understand your coming."

"I want my money."

"What money....oh money because you heard from Cassandra that I am rich now right?" Ella said.

'I am here for my money, Ella." Daniel said and she laughed.

"I schooled for four years, and each year was seventy thousand naira. So multiplying it with four years, gives two hundred and eighty thousand naira. Oh yeah, I'll make it three hundred thousand, for those little things you used to buy for me."

He frowned. She laughed.

"Were you expecting  a million? You'll get your money but I'll make sure you go to jail, Daniel." She said.

"What offense did I commit you slut?"

"You Daniel Ejiofor, you took advantage of me and raped me, times without number. I have my proof and you'll be in jail in no time." She said snapping her fingers.
"I promise you."

She tore out a cheque and wrote a sum of three hundred thousand.

"Enjoy, while you still have time." She laughed out and he left.

Amara looked at her in disbelief.

"You've suffered so much. You're so kindhearted." She said and hugged Ella.

"Thanks baby. I'll be strong for you."

I'll be strong, she thought.

Ella put a call across to someone.
"Hello Jean. I want to sue someone to court."

Ella got dressed in her cooperate attire.  She made sure she'd be her best at their meeting at Abuja.

She left for Abuja. She was going to come back the same day. Uche sat beside her in the car.

"Ma'am, you'll be fine." Uche said to her and Ella held her hand.
"Thank you dear."

Robert was upset with himself. He was drinking. He was really in love with Ella. He was hurt. What more could he do to win Ella back?

Cassandra opened the door and walked in.
"Hello baby. Oh you're drinking."

"Don't touch me." He muttered.

She sat on him and began to caress him.
"Didn't you miss me baby?" She asked planting a kiss on his lips.

"Leave me alone Cassandra." He said again.

Cassandra pulled off her clothing and put her phone carefully on the table. She smiled at it and went towards Robert and pulled off his clothing.

"Leave me...." Cassandra stopped him by kissing him and taking her hands to his jeans. He got enthralled and Cassandra smiled.

Ella and Uche got into the car.

"Wow ma'am. The meeting was a success." Uche said and Ella smiled.

"Yes, we'll be in progress." Ella said and her phone beeped in Uche's hand.

"Ma'am, I think you have a message."

"Okay." Ella said and took the phone from her.

Ella opened her phone and checked the message.
It was from Robert.
It was a video and....

"Oh no." Ella muttered. "No."

"Ma'am?" Uche asked.

Robert and Cassandra were having sex and he dared send me the video.
It can't be that he sent this to me. Robert isn't like that. Ella thought.

"Its nothing." She said to Uche. "Let's go home."

"Argh my head." Robert said and tried to rise. He saw that he was naked.

"What the hell." He muttered and saw Cassandra lying by his side.

"Oh no. Oh...."

The door creaked open, and Ella stepped in and gasped.

"So it was true." She muttered.
Cassandra stirred from her sleep.

"Ella, its..."

"Yeah, I sent you that video." Cassandra said. "Sent it through Robert's phone."

"You bitch." Ella said and ran towards her, throwing a punch at her face. She grabbed her hair and punched her again.

"Ella." Robert called, holding her. He had dressed up.

"You bitch. Bastard." Ella said and hit her until she was bleeding from the nose.

Robert grabbed her and pulled her away.
"Let me go." She cried.
"I was drunk. That's why she was able to do this."

"I hate you Robert Williams. I wonder why I fell in love with you." She cried and wrestled away from him.

"You stole my heart and hurt me...."
Ella said and walked away.
