A Walking Dilemma [COMPLETED]

Prologue

"Holy shit! Why the fuck are they running after us? Hindi nila tayo pwedeng arestuhin!" A girl in the same organization ranted.

Nakakagalit

Hindi nila kami pwedeng hulihin just because we decided to fight for our human rights.

Cops are running behind us, I don't know what will happen if they'd catch us. Maybe we'd stay in jail for 24 hours or more? that's insane! they can't even present us a warrant for our arrest.

Nadapa ako sa kalagitnaan ng pagtakbo. Tuloy tuloy lang ang mga kasama ko but Aly decided to stop to help me stand. Napakagat ako ng labi nang nakita ko na nasa likod na namin ang mga pulis.

Agad kaming pinosasan at tinakpan ang bibig na parang hayop. Ganito sila kasahol pero nagtataka pa rin sila sa araw-araw kung bakit kami galit na galit sa kanila.

No matter how much I wanted to kick their ass, I won't do it. Violence is not the best solution for this kind of situation. Pwede pa nila akong kasuhan ng panibagong paglabag pag ginawa ko ang iniisip ko.

Pagkarating namin sa presinto agad kaming pinagtinginan ng mga tao. Six people were arrested and we're all in the same organization.

I stared at their eyes.

There is no regrets at all. We don't regret doing this even though it will cost us more. We are fighting for the people, for our country.

I smiled inside.

Atleast we will make some noise on social medias, right? More people will be curious enough and will try educating themselves about what happened. It's a win-win situation.

We have been locked up for almost half a day when a familiar guy went inside the police station.

He looked at me angrily with his bloody eyes, as if he is blaming me into something I'm not aware about.

"For fuck's sake, Karlette! Apollo was shot by a police!" ani ni Dixon.

I wasn't able to say anything. Para akong biglang pinagbagsakan ng mundo. Too much questions are on my mind but I could not able to ask anything. Bakit siya nabaril? Ano nangyari? The last time I checked he's in their house, probably eating chips!

"Why are you not saying something? Maybe because you didn't care enough huh? Well... let me tell you someting. He was shot in the middle of your org's protest, trying to find you! He knew very well that it would be dangerous for you and that's the reason he stopped you beforehand!" He said angrily.

Umiling siya nang napagtanto na hindi talaga ako magsasalita.
