~ Gabriella's POV ~

"What did he do?" I shook my head at Emilia as I curled up next to Giovanni, resting my head on his shoulder.

"He didn't do anything." I let out a small sniffle as I dabbed my eyes, ignoring the confused expression on her face.

"If he didn't do anything then why are you here crying on my couch instead of having sexy time with your boyfriend?"

My sister has always been pretty blunt.

"Because...he...we- ugh, I don't know, okay? I just am." I let out a frustrated sigh as I sat up, tucking my legs underneath me as I sat on her couch. "Can I just please stay here tonight? I don't really have anywhere else to go, I can't go back to mom and dad-"

"Gabby you can stay here for as long as you want to." My sister gave me a smile as she put her hand on mine, before she shifted her gaze to my brother who was just sitting quietly next to us. Her smile quickly morphed into a glare when she looked at him.

"You sister is crying over a guy, you know the protocol."

I couldn't help but laugh when glared at her for a moment until he let out a defeated sigh and stood to his feet, turning to look at Justin who was sitting on the floor not bothered by my sudden appearance or tears in the slightest.

"You're coming with me."

"What? Why?" The ten year looked away from his game device and up at his uncle.

"Because I'm not going alone now get up." Justin let out a grumble as he stood up, walking towards the door where Giovanni was waiting for him, but not before he turned to look at me with a glare. "This is all your fault."

I just flashed him a smile as I watched the two of them leave before I turned back to look at Emilia.

"What's wrong my little Gabby? What happened?" As soon as she spoke in her soft tone, moving some hair out of my face, my eyes filled with tears all over again.

"I think I broke up with him by accident."

Once I'd finished my next round of tears, I had to finally tell her that I'd been lying to her for the past two weeks. I explained what happened in Seychelles and Sicily to Emilia, leaving out a couple of details about Matteo and his family which I knew I definitely wasn't allowed to tell her.

"Oh Gabriella, why didn't you tell me earlier? All this happened two weeks ago?" I nodded my head in response to her question.

"It seemed like after that argument when I slapped him, everything just went down hill. I couldn't do anything right. I danced with that guy I met, I had no clue who he was but Matteo seemed so hurt when he found out."

"They probably have some sort of history. Look, don't worry Gabby, you're both so crazy in love with each other, it will work out eventually."

"You don't know that though-"

"Actually I do. It's not like you can just stop seeing him altogether, you're carrying his child. Take some time to yourself, bring your stress levels down because that isn't good for the little one. Then, when you're ready, call him and speak to him. If you explain why you left, I'm sure he'll understand."

"Don't you listen? I said I don't know why I did it." Even though I just snapped at her, Emilia let out a chuckle as she wrapped her arms around me, pulling in me in for another hug.
