Hello! 

Thank you to everyone who participated in the survey. Despite to that information, and after much, much deliberation, I am saddened to inform you that the PWAs will not be hosting its annual contest this year. I know many of you were looking forward to it (as we all do), but let me explain. This year has been hard on everyone, but by no means are we stopping the PWAs from returning in full force next year. We are going to host mini-contests throughout the remaining months until then while we plan out next year's large competition. To recap, let's look at the changes that have occurred in 2020 for the PWAs:

-New admin

-Staff changes (leaving spaces unfilled)

-PWAs 2020 cancelled

-New competitions

And those are only a few of the changes within the community itself. Many others you all know of as it is affecting your personal lives. The PWA leaders stand with each of you during these tough times. Many are part of the communities that are being attacked right now. Many have had health issues or other personal matters to attend to that are not normal for this time of the year. 

HOWEVER, the PWAs WILL be returning next year. Until then, we are hosting amazing short contests with prizes including a shout-out on the PWA profile page. Details will be in the next part (coming today). I hope you feel free to ask any questions once the first contest rules are explained. Please be aware that many of the staff are as sad as you may be to have to cancel something that has gone on for nearly a decade. It is by no means something I looked forward to as a new admin. Believe me, I did everything I could to bring it back this year but it is just not an option at this time. Please keep any comments kind, as it is something we all need during this season of life. Any hurtful comments will be deleted. We care about each of you and will be returning with details on the first contest shortly. Thank you for your time.
