Hello all, Scarlet here with an update to my previous announcement. As you probably know, Wattpad messaged me to tell me that we can no longer use "Watty" in our name as it's apparently a threat to their trademark. It doesn't matter that our popular contest gets them ad revenue, of which we receive none— the name has to go.
So now, the contest will run under the name: "The 2016 Pokemon Fiction League," as to fit in with our awards being the "Elite 4" and the "Elite 4 Champion" of the various categories. We will also be editing the logo as Wattpad also has a stick up its butt about us using one letter of their logo, despite the fact that many other more popular profiles and stories do so unpunished. But I digress...
Thank you all for your support during this process. Please keep 2016 Pokemon Watty Awards in the title of your book if you already do until Wattpad says we can't—We'll change this next year. If you really want to switch, then for the tag, use #PokeFicLeague2016
