The tale of Darth Jar Jar

Chapter 4: setting the pawns

Darth Jar Jar arrives back on the planet of Naboo, he walked back to his quarters and told Palpatine the first step of the mission was complete.

Palpatine was impressed with Darth Jar Jar's power and was happy to proceed on to the next phase

Palpatine turned to Jar Jar " it is time to find an apprentice to lure the Jedi" smiled Palpatine

Suddenly a beep from the hologram message came up and Palpatine turned it on and put his hood up it was mother Telsin she told the two that a warrior is ready to be picked to be his new apprentice.

Palpatine looked at the Hologram and smiled " we'll be on our way" he said switching off the hologram.

Darth Jar Jar followed to the ship and Palpatine set course for Dathomir.

Dathomir was a planet filled with ruthless warriors called the Night brothers some of the Galaxies most skilled warriors came from there.

After hitting light speed the two arrived at Dathomir, it was sandy and dark, the two walked to the gates and a woman in a red robe approached them " ahh lord Sidious my Night brothers are this way" she glanced at Darth Jar Jar and shivered in fear. She bowed and gestured towards the door.

The two walked inside and saw Night brothers in heavy black armour wielding staffs standing tall side by side.

Mother Telsin stood beside Sidious and Darth Jar Jar " today one of you will be chosen to go be Lord Sidious apprentice " she said raising her arms

Without a word Palpatine and Jar Jar walked back and forth among the rows of warriors. Palpatine walked by looking at them closely as he did this he kept shaking his head in disapproval non of them were worthy.

Jar Jar walked down an isle and saw a red faced warrior with yellow eyes he looked directly into them and placed a palm on the warriors chest.

Suddenly as Jar Jar touched the night brother and as he touched him the electricity through his fingers surged into the Night brothers skin, he could feel it but it wasn't hurting he just kept his eyes wide open and allowed the pain to flow through him Jar Jar looked at him and thought he was very strong in the force.

Suddenly a vision came to him of that warrior killing a Jedi, Jar Jar smiled and pointed at the night brother " this one" he said smiling.

Mother Telsin spoke up infront of the crowd " that is Maul our strongest warrior here" she said smiling.

Palpatine walked to the Night brother and looked at Him in the eyes " are you sure?" He said looking back at Jar Jar.

Jar Jar put a hand on palpatines shoulder to reassure him " i had a vision of him killing a Jedi"
Palpatine smiled and gestured his hands at Maul to follow them. As Maul followed behind the two back to the ship mother Telsin patted him on the shoulder " you have done well my son i am proud of you" she smiled but Maul felt no emotions and walked on.

As they got onto the ship Mother Telsin approached them Palpatine turned round to lower the ship doors and saw her and bowed bidding her goodbye she bowed back " i am sure my son will be a great asset to the dark side" said Telsin bowing again.

The ship doors rose and rose back up and they set course for Naboo.

On the ship Jar Jar turned to Palpatine " you must train him well for the vision to come true" said Jar Jar

Palpatine smiled and put his hands together " i will teach him all i know" he smirked.

They landed on Naboo and walked inside the quarters and Palpatine went to his desk and pulled out a Kyber crystal and lightsaber parts " this is the weapon of the Sith one must choose it's master" smiled Palpatine.

Jar Jar raised his hand and Maul looked " you must concentrate feel your weapon call to you" smiled Jar Jar, Maul raised his hand and concentrated the lightsaber rumbled and shook on the table, suddenly it hovered lightly and the parts fixed them self together and the Kyber crystal entered both sides of the weapon it floated into his hands.

" you are strong with the force but you are not a sith yet" said Palpatine looking at Maul.

Maul ignited the saber and both sides lighted up he spun it round inspecting the weapon his face lit up in the red glow " your training will begin in the morning smiled " Darth Jar Jar. Maul bowed and went to meditate on the floor for the night.

The next day Palpatine went to Mauls room and gestured to follow him, he lead Maul outside to a training area with stuffed dummy's to practice on.

Palpatine stood back " let me see how you are with combat" smiled Palpatine.

Maul ignited the lightsaber and kick flipped the dummy the lightsaber blades connected and it made a small hole a bit of straw come out the end.

Palpatine went towards Maul " harder if you want to kill the Jedi you must be more ruthless unleash your anger" said Palpatine raising his hands suddenly lightning bolts came out and struck Maul.

The impact was strong and Maul fell to the floor while on the floor he swinted his eyes and became more angry he couldn't feel any pain so he he got up and beat the straw dummy's up with the lightsaber, he did a kick flip and the straw dummy cut in half.

Palpatine smiled " good you have proven you are good in the way of the force and combat your final test will be this afternoon" smiled Palpatine going back to his quarters.

Jar Jar was sitting at his desk and saw palpatine come in " to show Maul's power i want you to be his final test" Smiled Palpatine " gladly " Jar Jar bowed

Later Jar Jar went down when Maul was training and stepped into the circle ignited his lightsaber Maul looked in fear " this is my final test?" He said igniting his lightsaber.

Jar Jar didn't say a word as Maul ran to Jar Jar and clashed his lightsaber with his Jar Jar Blocked every move Maul did and force pushed him out of the way.

Maul flew along other side of the circle and landed in the dust, Maul charged towards Jar Jar and bashed both sides of his lightsaber against Jar Jars with anger in his eyes Maul did a flip and kicked Jar Jars lightsaber onto the ground.

Palpatine came down the stairs holding robes in his hands " hence forth you shall be known as Darth Maul" smiled Palpatine Maul got on one knee and bowed his new master.

Jar Jar struck Maul with lightning once more and he couldn't feel it but let it flow through him " yes master " he said as he stood up and put on the robes put his hood up and bowed.

Jar Jar stopped the lightning and went upstairs and back inside with Palpatine Maul continued his training.

Palpatine sat at his desk " now that the pawns are in place you must go to the underwater Gungan city and act idiotic that way we can fool the Jedi into thinking you are with them" Palpatine grinned

" moui moui" said Darth Jar Jar sticking out his tounges proving further he was fit for the job.

Jar jar bowed and took his cloak off leaving him with only gungan rags. He exited the building and walked to the forest area to the gungan underwater city to pull the greatest trick ever and fool the Jedi.
