Chapter 36: the bad feeling

Once Rey destroyed Sidious she went to Luke's island and started to restore his Jedi academy and Poe and Fin sought out force sensitive children and brought them to the island so that Rey could train a new.

Rey was on the training area with Fin and she told him she felt off  she told him that in the throne room while she was fighting Snoke and on Exegol she felt a strong dark side presence, she felt something had been left unfinished, she thought maybe there was Sith presence out there.    

Fin told Rey to maybe consult the Jedi force ghosts.

Rey left Fin and made her way to the temple, she went in a room and sat down and crossed her legs, she started to meditate.

She concentrated and thought of all the Jedi of old, they could hear Rey's calls. Suddenly Luke and Yoda appeared by her side in a blue glow before Rey.

Yoda asked what guidance Rey soughted out, she explained to the ghosts what she was feeling and asked the two Jedi if they had sensed the same thing.

Yoda told Rey when he was at the Jedi temple with Obi Wan after order 66 took hold he sensed the very same presence, he told Rey it was a very dark and powerful presence he sensed somebody was hiding in the shadows of the temple watching the two Jedi but he told Rey he couldn't figure out what it was  because he had too much on his mind and too much was going on.

Next Luke told Rey he sensed the same dark presence while fighting Sidious on the Death star two, he told Rey not only did he see something during the fight against Vader but he saw something.

He told Rey that he saw yellow bright Sith eyes and a red snout but that was  all he could see because it was dark and this being was in a black cloak like he was trying to be hidden in the darkness.

Luke recalled the story and remembered he saw this figure run quickly and escape  Luke said he had no time to deal with it because the rebels were about to blow up the death star and he had to foccus on making sure Vader escaped with Luke.

Rey got excited about Luke seeing bright yellow Sith eyes and a red snout because this was the exact same thing she saw on the death star two's ruin's she said whatever it was made her have vision's of the dark side  and once again she said saw it while she was fighting Snoke standing beside him in his dark cloak hooded that was all she could see.

Yoda confirmed that they all might have sensed the same dark presence.

Luke suggested that maybe The Sith hadn't been destroyed and that there is more to what they saw than it seems. They told Rey that she needs to find out what they saw really was and the two force ghosts disappeared before her eyes.

Suddenly Rey heard a ship landing in the hangar and she got up and went to the hangar bay to see who it was.

She was cautious because she thought it might be imperials and Poe and Fin tells Rey who comes on and off the island.

She saw a thin girl with white markings on her face, Rey had never seen this person before maybe she was a new student in for training, but Poe or Fin would have told her.

Rey approached the girl " hi you must be Rey the great destroyer of Sidious" she laughed nudging Rey's side.

Rey wondered why this girl was here and asked the girl, she told Rey she could feel what she was sensing and it brought her to the island so she could tell her something important.

Rey thought that finally this girl might have awnsers  about this dark presence for her.

The girl reached out and shook Rey's hand " i'm Ashoka Tano " Rey shook her hand and remembered Luke's stories of her, this girl helped the 5o1st in their missions and helped the famous capitan Rex remove his chip, she was very proud to meet her.

Finally she explained the dark presence the Jedi were sensing and Ashoka told that when Vader began to turn and destroyed the temple he spoke to Padme who then told Ashoka that he saw a man with a red snout and Sith eyes just like the creature Rey saw he told Padme that this being created Vader from the midiclorians and claimed to be Vader's farther.

Ashoka got all teary eyed and suggested thats what tempted Vader to turn many years ago because this being was playing games with his mind.

Rey was shocked to hear this news, they both agreed that this being  was probably a higher power than Sidious and obviously more powerful than him.

Rey's bad feeling was right,  Luke was right maybe the Sith hadn't had all gone.

Ashoka suggested a place called Mortis were the Jedi pilgrim to so she could try and confirm their suspicious of these dark feelings

Ashoka walked with Rey to the Jedi temple to the room were she was meditating, then force ghost Luke appeared before them both.

Luke saw Ashoka and smiled she told him that this being their all sensing created Vader  and that being might be a higher power more powerful than Sidious.

Luke's mouth opened wide in shock upon hearing this news, his force ghost form started having visions of the cloaked figure on the death star with his fight with Vader he  knew very well that his suspicions were right all along and  told Rey to do what Ashoka asks and go to Mortis for she could possibly learn more about this higher power there and with the evidence Rey could find a way to bring this being to justice.

Ashoka decided she was coming with Rey and Rey they walked to the hangar and got in their ship and took off for Mortis to start their quest to find the truth.
