Chapter 37: the world between worlds

On the ship Ashoka explained to Rey that Mortis was the planet that inhabits the living enbodiment of the light and dark side of the force. She told her that maybe they had the awnseres Rey was looking for.

The ship landed on this paradise of a planet with clear shimmering blue waters and trees that stood tall that reached the sky.

Suddenly a sparkle of force power came out from the trees and  manifested together and a woman with green hair and a yellow glow appeared before Rey and Ashoka, the woman introduced herself as The Daughter and her  voice echoed throughout the planet.

When The Daughter spoke her voice was soft and Rey could feel strong light side vibes from this woman.

The Daughter was expecting Rey
Ashoka was excited to see the embodiment of the light for herself. The Daughter reached out her hand towards Rey gesturing for her and Ashoka to follow  and her and Rey followed her through the jungle.

There she and Rey came across a temple made of brick, Ashoka and Rey saw the two embodiments of the force The One who was the dark side embodiment and The Daughter who was the light.

The Daughter floated to the centre The Daughter told the two they could feel that Rey needed awnser's.

Rey nodded to Ashoka and walked up infront of the two force gods, Rey explained to the force embodiments about this strong dark sense Rey and the Jedi felt.

The One hovered down because he knew all about Dark presences, Rey told the One about the red snout and the yellow Sith eyes. The One  closed his eyes and looked into the past.

He remembered and told Rey many years ago he could feel a powerful Sith lord who was the master of Sidious  force power transfer into a another species.

The one explained from the vision's of the past the species the Sith lord's power transferred into worked behind the scenes to make it all happen.

The one told Rey to see for her self, he raised his hand and a stone rock moved out the way revealing the door to a deep dark cave.

The One explained beyond the door was the word between worlds, Ashoka couldn't believe she heard that name again after all these years and told Rey that Ezra used the world between worlds to save her many years ago.

The portal came on in the door of the cave and white marking's appeared around it activating the portal.

Ashoka went to walk in the portal but Rey suggested she do it herself, Ashoka nodded and said she'd wait for Rey.

Rey walked into the portal it was dark and she began to hear voices of old Jedi and the events took place.

Rey heard the voice of The One guiding her through the portal.

The room turned white blinding Rey for a little bit and events of Jedi past could be seen on the side of the walls.

There the events on the wall played out, she looked at a screen on the wall of Yoda and Obi wan walking through the temple after order 66 and she could indeed see a thing moving in the shadows just like Yoda said.

She pressed on the wall and it zoomed in, she could indeed see the same snout and yellow Sith eyes confirming it was the same person they saw.

Rey moved along the walkway and events were different it was of this person itself in full view, it showed Sidious talking to the Gungan about giving emergency powers, the next event on the wall showed the cloaked gungan in the senate room using the force to convince them to grand Sidious his apprentice these powers.

Rey was shocked and confirmed their suspicions the Gungan gave Sidious his dark powers and that Sidious was just a pawn.

The  next events on the wall showed the cloaked gungan standing there on the death, star on the fight with Luke, Rey saw the gungan wave his hand convincing  Vader to drop Sidious down the shaft as an act of revenge.

Then it showed the gungan's mission to clone Sidiou's and resurrect him, Rey was sick to learn the truth that the gungan was behind it all.

She thought of the cloaked gungan and fell to the floor with a thump, her vision went blurry and at the end of the walkway she saw the gungan in his dark robe standing looking at her.

Rey got up and looked at the gungan and ran as fast as she could out of the portal she just had to tell Ashoka.

The darth Jar Jar force vision waved his hand and the portal rumbled, the portal she was running towards was getting smaller and smaller.

She ran backwards and squinted her eyes and a blast of thunder came out of Rey's hands shooting towards the Gungan vision but it disappeared.

Rey was glad it was gone and ran back to the portal to the outside world she was out of breathe but glad to be back.

She rested her hands on Ashoka's shoulder and in a gasp of breathe she told the Gungan was behind everything, gave Sidious his power's in the senate he was behind it all.

Ashoka remembered she had mission's with a Gugan before she remembered and told her it was Jar Jar. Ashoka really did find him suspicious after all these years. She was saddened that he betrayed the Jedi after all he did to help but that was all a lie thanks to this discovery.

Suddenly the One remembered Jar Jar and told the two girls he is still very powerful and is exiled away but he told the two girls Jar Jar is prepared for the next attack and the two girls  would need reinforcements to try and stop him once and for all.

Rey and Ashoka got back on their ship to inform the Force ghosts about planning their next move about how to stop Jar Jar from continuing his reign of terror.
