The tale of Darth Jar Jar

Chapter 39: investigating the gungan

Rey, Ashoka and the rescued Jedi landed on Naboo, Rey thought it was wise to take Obi Wan and qui Gon with her because they knew more about Jar Jar than she did.

Ashoka and Rey stepped out of  the ship and onto the grasslands Ashoka told Rey she remembered this is were Anakin, her apprentice used to hang out with his wife Padme, she told Rey that Jar Jar married them in secret.

The rescued Obi wan recognised the land as they trudged through the grass he told Rey that under the water was Jar Jar's home world and that Jar Jar's boss might still be there.

Rey, Ashoka and the rescued Jedi came to a stop at a mass of water, Qui Gon gestured that Rey go first, She walked into the water and the rest followed.

They went under water and began to swim down, down below they could see the shimmering yellow lights of Jar Jar's home and they swam towards it.

They swam into the air bubble and finally they could breathe again, Gungan's  saw the Jedi come out from the water and they  looked at them putting their tongues out at them.

Qui Gon  and Obi Wan told Rey to follow him to the throne room because he knew the layout of this place from the back of his hand, he still remembered.

The Jedi made it to steps and saw an old frail Boss Nass, it looked like he was still ruling this place after all these years.

Boss Nass recognised Qui Gon and Obi Wan but didn't recognise Rey, Qui Gon told Rey that he would speak for her. Rey agreed and stepped back to let Qui Gon talk.

Qui Gon asked Boss Nass what he knew about Jar Jar and if he did anything suspicious.

Boss Nass's eyes widened excitedly and he told the Jedi that he was just a normal Gungan warrior until one day Boss Nass sent him to watch for separatists that  plan to invade but Boss Nass said he went to check up on Jar Jar and he was gone he left for days on end and they didn't know were he went.

Boss Nass said after a while of mysteriously disappearing Boss Nass saw Jar Jar come back, he acted like a normal Gungan and nothing seemed to be wrong, but from accounts from other Gungan soldiers they heard talking from his quaters, they suspected he was talking to someone but they never got to find out who.

Rey asked Boss Nass if they can see the security footage from that day so they could see who Jar Jar was talking to.

Boss Nass agreed and gestured for a gungan warrior to take a look, they followed the gungan warrior to the security  room and pulled out a holo disc from back then.

He put it in the hologram and an image came up of Jar Jar kneeling by his bed talking to what looked like Darth Sidious, the Gungan's eyes lit up and told the Jedi that this was the first time something came up on the footage, Rey suggested he might have used the force on the camera to cover up he was talking to Sidious, the gungan said thats why he put it away nothing was coming up for years.

They saw Sidious was calling Jar Jar master he was Jar Jar's apprentice.

They saw Jar Jar talking about leading the Jedi here and acting stupid to learn their secrets Obi wan and Qui Gon's eyes widened they felt betrayed learning this was all just a ruse.

Their suspicions were right Jar Jar was the higher power.

They thanked the Gungan warrior and he led the Jedi back out of the room and back to the throne room to Boss Nass.

Rey stepped towards him and asked if there was anything else suspicious Jar Jar did.
Boss Nass recalled that Jar Jar caused havoc and had lighting power's, he  recalled Jar Jar casted it on  on some bombs that realased when he casted the lightning, Boss Nass pointed to a black mark on the wall were he casted the lightning.

Rey remembered she heard Sidious talk about transferring his power's to her and figured thats what happened to Jar Jar she told the Jedi Sidious's master struck him down and his Sith spirit choose him.

Rey told Boss Nass that Jar Jar had been possessed by a Sith Lord and Boss Nass's eyes lit up surprised he was one all along.

Rey explained to Boss Nass his apprentice Sidiou's was taken care of, Boss Nass asked if they can restore Jar Jar's mind and maybe bring him back.

Rey didn't know Luke didn't really teach her that far in the ways of Jedi arts.

Qui Gon turned to Rey and smiled and told her their are books in the archive on the Jedi temple that have the solution but Qui Gon told her she would have to use the dark side to use these books.

Rey knew already she had power's of the dark side because she was Sidious grand daughter so she had the dark side power's infused within her.

Rey smiled to Boss Nass and told him they'll get him back and not to worry.

Boss Nass counted on the Jedi after all he trusted them with all his heart.

Boss Nass called a transport from the sea before they left he wished them good luck on their mission , Rey bowed  and they waited and after a while the transport arrived and the Jedi got on and took them back to the surface.

The ship raised above the water and the Jedi got off the ship, they trudged through the mud and grass back to their ship.

They finally arrived at their ship and they walked up the bay doors and onto the ship, they found some good information and confirmed their suspicions.

Now it was time to go to the Jedi temple on Corosaunt and find the book and bring Jar Jar back stopping the dark lord that is possessing him from doing anything else.
