"Hey, mom?! Dad? I'm home! Yo, mami? Pops?" Miles called out for his parents, but no one answered.
He walks in the kitchen and see's a note on the fridge saying, "Dear, Miles. Your father and I will be working tonight. There's some leftovers from last night in the fridge. And DON'T FORGET TO DO YOUR HOMEWORK! Mom."
"Of course." Miles said as he fixed himself a sandwich and watch TV in the living room.
Outside his house, a scientist from Oscorp was riding his bike with a container fill couple of spiders, but they weren't ordinary spiders. The scientist hit a bump on the rode and one of the spiders jump out of the container. It face right in front of Miles house and starts crawling threw the window.
Miles was watching TV and it showed the news of Sam Wilson being the new Captain America."It's been four month since Samuel Thomas Wilson, a former Air Force pararescue airman that has taken the mantle of Captain America since Steve Rogers retired. He stop a terrorist group called 'the Flagmaster' and receive a few support. Mostly from his community. Although he's been saving people life and completing his mission duties. Half of the citizens don't agree on him being the new Star Spangled Man. Here are the reaction on what people are saying about the new Captain America." Said the Freida as the tv shows people mixed reaction.
"Hey! I remember seeing him saving a truck load of people that night. That's what Captain America is suppose to be. A hero for this country." said a 50 year old man.
"He was defending those terrorists on that interview. What kind of 'American Hero' have sympathy for someone who nearly attack our homeland?" said a retired veteran.
"They can say what they want to say. But Steve Rogers gave his shield to the right man, Sam Wilson." said a young female activist.
"Amen, to that!" Miles said.
"But Sam Wilson isn't the first African American Captain America. Isaiah Bradley was. A war veteran who was assigned by the U.S. military to go to South Korea and saved most of his men, but was sentence 30 years in prison. Being experimented by the government and HYDRA. He was freed in 1981, but had to fake his death. Thanks to Sam Wilson, he let the world know what he did and honored him in the Smithsonian museum. Here we are with the hero himself, Isaiah Bradley. Thank you for coming on the show, Mr. Bradley." Freida said while interviewing Isaiah.
"Pleasure to be here." Isaiah said.
"Now, you just release your new memoir, 'Red, White and Black' we all know the story and I know what was tragic time for you, but can you tell us what happened that day when you saved most of those men that time?" Freida said as Isaiah sigh.
"I went through hell saving those men and went through hell that." Isaiah said as Miles started to nod off.
The radioactive spider crawls on the ceiling above Miles as he continues watching the news.
Miles drifted off to sleep on the sofa as the radioactive spider webs down and bites him on his hand.
