In New York, Baron Mordo is living in a raggedy apartment. He turns on the TV news as it shows criminals robbing stores and prostitutes in Harlem.
"Oh humanity can be such a waste. Why did they think God put them on Earth for. Just to burn their city to the ground?" Baron said to himself as the news switch to a new topic.
"In other news, Colonel James Rupert Rhodes have announced that he is retiring from War Machine. After the death of his companion and long time friend, Tony Stark, he thought it times to wrapped it up for his Avengers Days. Also, Sam Wilson, formally known as 'The Falcon' and now 'The New Captain America' spoke at a new Boys and Girls Center, until a protestor tries to shoot him." the news reporter said on tv.
"And now there's more problems in the world. I'm starting to lose faith in humanity than ever before. These Avengers and sorcerers thinks they are the protector of the world, but they don't know they caused more chaos. Well, I say no more Sorcerers. No more causing destruction and no more heroes." Baron said. He saw a woman he once knew, who now a prostitute.
"Jeanette." Baron said.
"Rent!" said the landlord as Baron opens the door.
"Yes. How much?" Baron asked.
"$400.00 for monthly." said the landlord.
"Yes, here's the money." Baron said as he his his powers and evaporate him.
"That man always gets on my nerves." Baron said as he closes the door.
