The next day at the Police Department, Kasper was called in to Torks office.

"Cole, office!" Took exclaimed.

When Kasper walked in to his office, he see's LT. Salvadore Anthony, a shift commander for the Patrol Services Burea of the 74th Precinct.

"Yes, sergeant? LT. Anthony." Kasper said.

"Detective Cole." Anthony said.

"Kasper, Lieutenant Anthony is here to offer to take a case." Torks said.

"Yeah. More drug dealers in Harlem, we could use your help on this one." Anthony said, but Kasper wasn't too sure on this one.

"I think I'm gonna pass on this one." Kasper said as he declined.

"Are you sure? Scruggs and Dre have taken the case." Anthony said.

"Well that's all the men you need. I nearly caught four dealers few nights ago, until Gallows the Americop took them away from us. Just because Keane created his own police initiative, he thinks he's a professional on the justice system?" Kasper said.

"I know, Kasper. I'm not a fan on his policing system either." Torks said.

"You sure you don't want to take this case?" Anthony said.

"I've already made up my decision, Lieutenant. Beside, I already have a case that I'm working on." Kasper said.

"Very well then. Good luck with it, Detective Cole." Anthony said as he walked out of Tork's office.

"I don't trust him, Francis." Kasper said.

"Well, about your case, you have 12 hours to find Davis or we're going to be shut down." Took said.

"Why would that matter? At least New York will have the Americop." Kasper said as he walked out.

At Miles's house, Miles was thinking about his Uncle Aaron. He hasn't heard from him or talked to him in a week and he was concerned.

"I haven't talked to Uncle Aaron in days. Detective Cole was even here to ask me if I've seen him. I know Uncle A and dad don't talk as much as they used to, but I wish they would be brothers again. I should call him." Miles said as he tries to call Aaron, but his phone went straight to voicemail.

Miles was very worried and wants to go to his apartment to check on him.

"Mom! I'm going to Ganke." he lied.

"Okay! Be home by dinner, mi hijo!" Rio said.

Isaiah was watching the news about the mysterious vigilante now named as Patriot, thanks to Sam.

"Elijah, get in here!" Isaiah said as he came to the living room and watch the news.

"Last night, Spider-Man took down an Australian man known as, Kangaroo, with the help with the mysterious vigilante now known as 'Patriot'. Captain America Sam Wilson says he's not official an Avenger yet, but he would love to work beside him one day." the newscaster said.

"Patriot? That's what they're calling him now?" Eli said.

"Has a nice ring to it. That boy's gonna get creamed." Isaiah said.

"Yeah it does." Eli said.

Miles was walking down the street to get to the subway, then he gets a phone call from Elijah.

"What's up, Eli?" Miles said on the phone.

"Patriot." Eli said.

"What?" Miles said.

"They're calling me Patriot now." Eli said.

"Okay. They're calling you Patriot now. What's the problem?" Miles said.

"Why couldn't they called me Annihilation Wave or Child Crusade?" Eli said.

"Annihilation Wave sounds like a bad guys name, but Patriot sounds cool." Miles said.

"You know you're right. So, listen I was wondering if you want to get some drug dealers or shooters or something tonight?" Eli said.

"Uh... I'm gonna sit this one out tonight. I gotta go check on my Uncle. I haven't heard from him in a week. Just wanna make sure he's okay." Miles said.

"Oh, okay. I guess I can handle going solo for tonight." Eli said.

"Alright, well me know if something bad comes up." Miles said.

"I will. Later B.S." Eli said.

"B.S.?" Mile said.

"Black Spider-Man." Eli said.

"Oh okay. Later, Patriot. That dude." Miles chuckled as he hang up the phone.

While Miles was taking a subway to Brooklyn, he calls Aaron one last time.

"Come on, Uncle Aaron pick up. Pick up. Damn it." Miles said to himself but it still went to voicemail.

In Brooklyn, Miles went to Aaron apartment, but he wasn't there, either. Miles gives up and decide to go straight back home. As he exit the subway, he turns toward the dark tunnel where he and Uncle Aaron walked into when he was little. As he walk towards the pitch black abandoned tunnel, his spider-sense started to surge.

"Ahh. That's feeling again. What is it." Miles groaned.

He shines his light on his phone into darkness as his spider-sense continues to direct him. Suddenly, he hears voices in his head. He see another pathway.

"I don't remember this being here." Mile said as he walked into a staging room containing Paragon Properties. He see's two figures. One wearing a big green hood and one wearing advanced technology suit with a purple mask who call himself The Prowler. And it's reveal that the green hooded figure was Baron Mordo. He hired Prowler to hunt down sorcerers so he can take their powers and kill them.

"Is this the last one?" Baron said.

"Yes. I found him in the alley." Prowler said.

"What the hell?" Miles whispered as he look.

"Mordo? Why are you doing this?" said the man.

"I have a revelation. The true purpose of a sorcerer is to twist things out of their proper shame. And you are one of them." Baron said.

"What are you saying?" the man said.

"You have stolen these powers." Baron said.

"No. I haven't. I swear to God, Baron." the man said.

"Don't swear to your God. Swear to me!" Baron exclaimed as he takes his powers. The man screamed in agony and Miles got scared.

"No way." Miles said.

Then Baron use his Staff of the Living Tribunal as a spear and stabbed the man. Miles was shocked as he witness a murder, then his phone went off as Ganke called him. Baron and Prowler heard his ringtone and saw Miles as he took off running.

"Someone was watching. He could've video record us and show it to the police." Prowler said.

"No, he won't. They'll be no witness. Kill him." Baron ordered.

The Prowler chase after Miles, as he races down the tunnel toward the light of the station. Miles hops over the fence, no hesitation. The Prowler was running faster behind with infrared vision. A subway train was coming. Miles leaps into the air and grabs the ceiling as the deafening subway passes beneath him. The Prowler walks toward Miles as he realizes his hands are still stuck.

"Come on. Come on. Come on." Miles said as start swinging his legs around to free himself as the Prowler approaches. It felt like a nightmare come to life for him. He finally rips his hands off, skin tearing and races out of the tunnel. Then another train was coming.

"OH SHIT!" Miles leaps, just clearing it.

He runs upstairs. Prowler washes from the shadowy tunnel, unable to follow. Prowler whizzes through the busy streets on his motorcycle. He drives right by an invisible Miles.
