Suspension

While Kasper driving at night, he see's LT Sal Anthony with Scruggs and Dre with a couple of drug dealers. But didn't look he they were going to arrest them. Kasper quietly goes over there to see what's going on.

"You got the stuff? Anthony said.

"Right here." said a dealer as he should them the cocaine.

"That's the stuff." Scruggs said.

Kasper see Sal putting the cocaine inside his coat pocket as he knew something was off about Anthony.

"Corrupt cops. I knew it." Kasper said as he start walking towards them.

"Detective Kasper. I figure you changed your mind..." Anthony said as Kasper punched him.

"You son of a bitch!" Kasper said.

"Whoa, whoa. Kasper let's take a breather." Scruggs said.

"Back up! I knew you two were apart of this all long." Kasper said.

"Look, Cole. It's not what you think." Dre said.

"Wait, you set me up." the dealer said as he got out his gun.

"Let's put the gun down, now. Nobody needs to get hurt, here." Anthony said.

Suddenly, Americop was on the patrol and he saw the four of them in a standoff. He gets out of the car with his gun.

"KIPD! Drop your weapon!" Bart exclaimed while holding his gun.

"Hey! We're on the same side, here." Anthony said.

"Last time drop them!" Bart said.

"Are you serious right now? You're gonna..." Kasper said as Bart start shooting and the four of them start taking cover.

"We're NYPD, GENIUS!" Dre exclaimed while taking cover.

"Gallows! Hold your fire!" Harold stop him.

"My apologize I was aiming for the dealer." Gallows said.

"Well, you nearly got him! I need a bus." Kasper said as he see the dealer laying down wounded. He covers the bullet wound on the side of his hip.

"Was he being serious?" Dre said.

The ambulance came and more back up came. They were searching for my drugs and couldn't find anything, but there was bad news for Kasper.

"Wait a minute? Suspension? Are you kidding me, Torks?" Kasper said.

"I'm sorry, Kasper. You didn't get the case in time." Torks said.

"What about Scruggs and Dre? They were behind all this." Kasper said.

"Their under suspension, too." Torks said.

"You gotta check on that guy. He nearly shot at us." Kasper said as he told Torks about Americop shooting at them.

"I can't. I'm very sorry, Kasper." Torks said.

"Yeah. Sure you are." Kasper said as he walk away. Then Bart had the police siren go off to get his attention.

"You know it's an only a matter a time till we find more drug busters. Too bad you're suspended. Sorry for trying to shoot at you, though." Bart said.

"Things are really intense for you, aren't they, Gallows? You guys have rules of engagement and all kinds of authorization you have to get." Kasper said.

"I'm not a normal cop. Not anymore. I'm a free cop." Bart said.

"We'll I'm more flexible. So it wouldn't make sense to work with you or for Keanes." Kasper said as he walk away.

"Well, a word of advice, then. Stay the hell out of my way." Bart said.

"Will do." Kasper said.

Kasper went home and see his mother and Gwen talking.

"Hey honey. I thought you were going to work over tonight." Ruth said.

"I got suspension." Kasper said.

"What?" Ruth and Gwen said.

"Please, I don't want to talk about it. I just need to get some rest. I'm glad to see you two getting along. It's about time." Kasper said as he went to his room.

"I always wonder why he always like that?" Gwen asked.

"Ever since his father passed." Ruth said.

The next day, Miles talk to Eli about what happened last night in the train tunnels.

"Woah. That sound something serious. I wish I came with you." Eli said.

"No, what better it would do. I was suppose to go to find my Uncle, but something told me to go check it out." Miles said.

"Did you even record it?" Eli said.

"No. I didn't. I just froze." Miles said.

"Man! You could've. Then you would show the police." Eli said.

"My dad is a policeman. If he found out that I was looking for my Uncle. He would go berserk. Eli, we are now match for that." Miles said.

"What are you talking about? You took out that Kangaroo dude and saved my life." Eli said.

"That was easy, but those dudes I saw in the tunnel. They have powers like Grade A powers. Eli we are no match for them. Miles said.

"Miles. I'm afraid of them." Eli said.

"You should be. If you try to take them out, they'll kill you twice as fast as you try get them. I don't think I can do this anymore." Miles said.

"Wait, you're not quitting are you?" Eli said.

"What choice do I have. I'm not Spider-Man. I don't even think I want these powers, anymore. I'm sorry, Eli. If you want to continue playing hero and taking out those guys. It's been nice knowing you." Miles said as he walked away.

"He's scared." Eli said to himself.
