After a long with of training, The Crew went back to Brooklyn where they have dinner at the secret underground base. They had food delivered from Sam's family restaurant to New York.
"Sam, your family seafood is the bomb, man." Rhodey said as he was eating.
"That's because my sister put a little hint of cajun kick into it." Sam said.
"I would love to go to New Orleans. I heard they throw great parties there." Shuri said.
"Mardi Gras. And trust me, they can be wild." Sam said.
"So, do you have all these secret bases all over the world?" Eli asked Fury?
"Just on certain places that might have danger occuring." Fury said.
"Oh." Eli said.
"Your grandfather is Isaiah Bradley, the first black Captain America." Fury said.
"Yeah, he was." Eli said.
"I read his memoir. He did everything he could to save his men and they did to him for that. I'm very sorry for what they did." Fury said.
"Its cool. Sam here made sure everybody know what he did though." Eli said.
"So, what's Wakanda like?" Miles asked T'Challa.
"Its an extraordinary place. It maybe small isolated landlocked country, but it's very peaceful. No war. No violence. No crime." T'Challa said.
"If only our country was like that. But instead violence and chaos happens every know and then." Miles said.
"I understand that. I watch the world news everywhere from the continent. But thinks will get better." T'Challa said.
"You know, you would look like a total badass if you had a cape or a cloak. Like Spawn." Eli said.
"I don't wear capes." T'Challa said.
"That is why I have you guys to keep the neighborhood safe." Fury said.
"Is that so?" Valkyrie said.
"I hope we don't stay here too long. I heard America is this higher of pest in this city." Okoye said.
"Relax, you're a big tough girl. You always kill anything that moves, anyway." Shuri said.
"I thought I was the only one." Valkyrie said.
"You kill em and eat em." Rhodey said.
"Come on, man. I still eating, here." Eli said.
Then Miles phone rang it was his mom, Rio.
"Hey, guys. I gotta take this. Hey, mami." Miles said as he got up and answer the phone.
"Miles. Honey, how you been?" Rio said.
"Fine. Muy Bien. What's up?" Miles said.
"Your father is at City Hall. Trying to get things under control from the protesters." Rio said.
"What?" Miles said.
"It's on the news." Rio said.
When Miles was finish talking to his mom, he was showing the team the live news footage of a protesting at City Hall.
"Guys! I think you need to see this." Miles said as he showed him the phone.
"Right now, I'm standing in front of City Hall where two protesters are clashing at it each other. Just moments ago, Senator Tom Herald from Texas just passed a bill that forces Federal Law Enforcement Agencies to cooperate and share resources with the Americops. On the left side its protesters who are against the Americop's action and demand justice for Rage. On the right are people who are defending Americop's Bartholomew Gallows and want Sam Wilson to return the shield." said the reporter as it shows protesters on the left with signs like, "Defund The Americops," "Justice for Rage," and no sign with the Americops face on it.
On the right side should protesters with signs like, "Give Back The Shield" "Not My Captain America" and "Respect The Americops." It also show Officer Jefferson trying to keep the protesters under control.
"That's my dad." Miles said while watching on his phone.
"I'm speaking to one of the protestors on the right here, why are you protesting against Sam Wilson?" the report asked the protester.
"He doesn't speak for us. He doesn't fight for us. He just fight for himself." said the right protester.
"You do know Steve Rogers chose him and he was a pararescue airman in the Air Force." said the reporter.
"I don't care. What I heard is that he left his wing-man to died. How long will you think your Captain America will keep your poverty safe?!" the right protester exclaimed at the left protesters as they argue at it each other.
"We better get down there before things start heating up." Sam said.
"Okay, maybe we can protect the left side." Eli said.
"No, no. You two are staying here." Sam said.
"You too, sister." T'Challa said.
"Yeah. This may get too intense for y'all." Rhodey said.
"So, when are we going to get ready for our first mission?" Shuri said.
"In time, Shuri." T'Challa said.
"But not this one." Sam said.
The five member went out to stop an angry group of protesters as the thee teenagers stay behind. At City Hall, Kasper saw the protesters from each sides about to get into a fight. He runs over to help a struggling Jefferson trying to keep them apart.
"Need some help?!" Kasper exclaimed will fighting the protesters off.
"Does it look like it? Get back!" Jefferson exclaimed while keeping the protesters back.
Sam and Rhodey flew over to the scene.
"Looks like we came just in time." Rhodey said.
Both Sam and Rhodey land in front of the protesters at City Hall. The left cheered for Sam while the right did not.
"You two came at the right time." Kasper said.
"We could use some help here." Jefferson said.
"There's no need for violence." Sam said to the protesters.
"You see here, this is Captain America. We're done with your hatred views. Time for you to face the facts whether you like it are not." said the left protester.
"Now, I'm not sure how all this got started, but how about we all take a deep breath, recognize that we're all Americans and suppose to be on the same side." Sam said to the protesters.
"We'll never be on your side!" said the right protester.
"You don't have to be, but at least we're trying to protect the country." Rhodey said.
"Like your partner try to protect his old partner." said the right protester as they continue to argue.
Tom and Paul were looking at the protesters outside in City Hall.
"Look at them. The left are still trying to show sympathy to that juvenile delinquent and support Wilson. They chose the wrong side." Paul said.
"At least we got the bill sign. When will the program be ready?" Tom asked.
"Tomorrow. Once they'll be ready their community will be long gone." Pau said.
"And that's where I come in." Baron said out of nowhere.
Across the Hall, T'Challa and Okoye were watching from a distance.
"And they call us savages when they are." Okoye said.
"Not every American is a savage, Okoye. When Erik came to Wakanda, he told me that they're people like us who are suffering. This what he meant." T'Challa said.
"We are not like these people." Okoye said.
"Maybe not, but I still see some good in them." T'Challa said.
