In South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Rhodes went back to his hometown for the funeral. After the memorial service, all of the friends and family gathered for the reception. Rhodes was walking around in his old house with people talking to his family. He spots his ex-girlfriend, Rae Lactose dressed in black.

"Oh god. She's here. What do you old Rhodey boy?" Rhodes said to himself as he walk towards her.

"Fancy seeing you here." Rhodes said.

"James. It's been while. I'm so sorry for your lost." Rae said.

"Thank you. We try to get all the help we could get her. Even though I haven't talked to her in years." Rhodes said.

"That goes to both of us." Rae said.

"So, how you been?" Rhodes asked.

"Been good. Still doing hair for big name people." Rae said.

"I think I saw you at Tony's funeral. I just never got chance to talk to you back then." Rhodes said.

"I know. I saw you, too. I just never had any idea what to say back then." Rae said.

"Well, Rae, it's good seeing you again. If you need anyone to talk, I'm still available." Rhodes said.

"Yeah." Rae said.

"I better go check on my mom. Hope you enjoy the service. See you around." Rhodey said as he left Rae.

"Well that went well." Rhodey said to himself.

Rhodes see his mother getting the empty plates and putting them in the sink washer.

"Hey, mom. How are you holding up?" Rhodey said.

"Oh, I'm just fine, James. Put a lot work for this funeral." His mother said.

"You know, if it helps, I can help pay for the funeral." Rhodey said.

"No, honey. You don't have to." His mother said.

"Mom, please. I insist. You went through enough trouble for this. You and dad. Where is he anyway?" Rhodey asked.

"Over there. And James. It's good to see you, again." His mother said.

"Its good to see you too, mom." Rhodey said as he gave his mother a side hug.

Rhodey walks to his father, who was talking to the Pastor.

"Thank you for that sermon, Pastor. It was very moving." Rhodes father said.

"It's my pleasure, Mr. Rhodes. Just remember I'll be praying for you and your family." the pastor said.

"Hey, dad." Rhodey said.

"Oh, now you wanna talk. You didn't say not one word to me before the service or for 30 years." his father said.

"Dad, I know I haven't been around that long, but I'm here to say that I was the last one to spoke to her before she died that night." Rhodey said.

"Was you able to tell her that her lifestyle was wrong?" his father said.

"I did. I tried, but she walked away." Rhodey said.

"Just like you did to your family. During the blip, we thought you blip away, but you were still alive and you didn't bother to call or check on us. Why did you have to come back to this damn town?" his father said.

"What do you want me to say, dad? I'm sorry that I left this family for providing for this country and helping the world from another terrorist attack or an extra terrestrial invasion? All I ever wanted to do is make you proud of me, pop." Rhodey said.

"To abandon your own family?! You're dead to me, boy. Just like your sister." His father said as he caused attention in the living room.

"Honey, honey please. Don't do this we just buried our daughter, today." his mother said.

"No, mom. He's right. I am dead. The whole family things so." Sam said as he walked out of his parents house.

He sighed as he got a phone call from Sam.

"Hey, Sam." Rhodey said.

"Hey, Rhodes. Bad time?" Sam said on the phone.

"No. No. You got me out of a situation." Rhodey said.

"Again. Sorry for your lost." Sam said.

"Thanks, man. You got anything yet?" Rhodey asked.

"No, not yet. We're still looking in to it. I'll give you a heads up. But if we do, promise you won't do anything reckless." Sam said.

"You have my word, Sam. I gotta go." Rhodey said, as he hanged up the phone.
