At Keane Industries, Paul was walking through the lobby with Thomas Herald, a Republican senator from Texas who was showing him files of Bartholomew Gallows.

"He's a fighter." Paul said.

"He sure as hell is. He received two metal of honor, stop a drug bus and taken down three criminals one by one. We even honored him as our own local hero in Texas." Thomas said.

"Guess he was like your own Captain America, I believe." Paul said.

"Between you and me. I was a huge fan of Captain America, until he refuse to sign the Sokovia Accords. He turn his back on doing the right thing for the American people. With Wilson, I thought it would be different, but it's more of the same. John Walker was the perfect candidate, but the government turn their backs on him. This country needs a real American hero and a protector. He's the perfect one." Thomas said.

"I'm sure he is the perfect one. There he is right now. Bart!" Paul exclaimed.

"Mr. Keane. Senator Herald." Bart said while stood up out of his chair.

"Officer Gallows. So honor of you to join this initiative." Paul said.

"With all due respect, sir. Does somebody want to tell me what the hell is this initiave is all about?" Bart asked as he follow them down the hallaway.

"Let me emphasise that on what am I about to share with you is tremendously sensitive, both to me personally and the Industries. You're aware that we've got an Infantry Weapons Development programme. Well, in WWII, they initiated a subprogram for Bio-Tech Force Enhancement." Paul said.

"Yeah, Super Soldier." Bart said.

" Yes. An oversimplification, but yes. And I dusted it off, got 'em doing serious work again, bold work. Across the hall, they were trying to arm you better and stronger. Sam was trying to retrieve the serum from the power broker. It wasn't even weapons application. He could never found the broker. But he was so sure of what he was onto. And something went very wrong with the serum." Paul said.

" Or it went very right. Thomas said.

"The serum wasn't used to make people into weapons, right? I mean they try to use it on the Army for super soldiers. Steve Rogers and Isaiah Bradley were the only men who were injected with it." Bart said.

"One serum on two men. Except for Isaiah, he was tested and examine his whole life. While Rogers was praise as a war hero." Paul said.

"But they are no longer in shape. And they do not fight for us. How old are they now? 69? 93? How old are you?, Gallows?" Paul said.

"35." Bart said.

"Takes a toll doesn't it?" Paul said.

"Yes it does." Bart said.

"Why you never thought about being a Colonel?" Paul asked.

"Because I'm a fighter. I can be one for as long as I can to protect this nation and keep it safe and strong." Bart said.

"We can probably arrange something like that." Paul said.

After Paul explains how Rogers and Bradleu became super soldiers, Paul agrees to injected Bart with a small amount of serum which gives him enhanced speed, strength, ability and healing.

"We're only giving you a very low dose only. Need you sharp out there and discipline. Any sign of side effects... Well, that probably won't happen." Paul said while their were on an examine room.

"You'll get two separate infusion. One into the deep muscle. One in the bone marrow center. But I got to warned you the bone ones are going to hurt." Said a doctor.

While getting ready, Paul was injected by two dose of serum in his neck and then on his back. He groaned a little bit. And now for the final step. Bart dressed up as a new officer, but with a different texture and puts on a face mask made with vibranium.

The next day, Sam and Rhodey went to a bar to hangout.

"Jesus. Your dad really said that to you at the funeral?" Sam said as he walked in.

"Yep. Every word. He was very pissed about it." Rhodes said.

"I remember the last thing my dad said to me that I disappointed him when I told him that I didn't want to take the restuarant. That was the last thing he ever said to me before he was killed." Sam said.

"Sam, I'm sorry to hear that. But I'm pretty sure he looking down and smiling at you. He would've been proud of you right now." Rhodes said.

"Thanks for that Rhodes, but enough about our daddy issues." Sam said.

"Anything about Jenette killer, yet?" Rhodes said.

"No. Still nothing." Sam said.

"Its just me or is that nobody cared about black woman getting murdered these days. Especially if it's a family member from the Avengers." Rhodey said.

"I know what you're saying. I couldnt get the loan for my dad's restaurant at first." Sam said.

"Its obviously you didn't get the loan for your father's restuarant until you got the shield." Rhodey said.

"Hey, it wasn't because I got the shield, okay..." Sam said, but Rhodey stop him.

"Wait. Whats that?" Rhodey said as he was watching the news on the TV.

"Hey my man. Can you turn that up?" Sam said to the bartender.

"Unrest, in the wake of recent events has left us vulnerable. These crimes and drug dealers have corrupted our city and our neighborhood. Whole we love our heroes who put their lives kn the line to defend Earth, we also need a hero to defend this great country. We need a protector who will serve justice who embodies America's greatest values. We need someone who can be a cop and a hero. It's with great honor that we announce here today in New York City has a new hero. Join me in welcoming our new cop, Americop." Paul Keane said on the TV while doing a conference introducing Barth as an Americop.

"Can he even see in that face mask?" Rhodey said.

"And who's there. Hauser and Herald." Sam said as they were watching the conference on tv.

"That talk show host and the senator from Texas?" Rhodey said.

"I can stand their assess and they can't stand mine." Sam said.

"Let me demonstrate. His face mask is made of vibranium. A metal of steel that was similar to Captain America's shield with unusual metallic element with decidedly strange properties." Paul said.

"Did the King of Wakanda agree to this?" Sam said.

Baron was watching the news and said, "Brilliant."
