The Job

Y/N POV

Today's my interview for the cafe job, it was going to be in the afternoon around 1:00 PM which means I have 1 hour to get ready for the questions they're going to be throwing at me. I walked to my closet and pick out a white crop top, with blue jeans with rips on the knees, for my shoes I picked my black combat boots. I pulled out my phone and checked the time 12:30.., Alexa going to be picking me up and dropping me off. I decided to call up Alex and check when she would get here since my interview was in 20 minutes. When I called she hung up after about 4 rings, I decided to call her once more and she hung up again, I texted her basically panicking since I only have 10 minutes to get there with no ride .
ME: 'ALEXA WHERE ARE YOU?!'
No answer.
ME: "I HAVE MY INTERVIEW TODAY, YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO TAKE ME!"
ALEXA: "Hey, I'm sorry I have a meeting right now I forgot to tell you, I could call you an Uber?"
ME: "What?? I-I guess...sure, thank you."
My interview was in 5 minutes, by the time Alexa's Uber pulled up I quickly pulled the door open and hopped in, I slammed the door while the Uber quickly drove off.
I was 5 minutes late, I rushed into the cafe shop and asked one of the employees where the interview was, She pointed to the back where there was a door. I quickly said thank you and prepare myself to walk in.
"Sorry I'm late, my friend was supposed to drop me off but then there was a sudden change of plans. My name is Y/N" I said nervously, the girl looked to be in her mid 30's she wore a a black long cardigan and blue jeans.
"You're 10 minutes late exactly, luckily, i'm in a good mood. My name is Mona, I will be your interviewer, nice to meet you."

After interview

"Great, you're hired!" Mona says as she gets up from her chair. "You can start tomorrow, I'll give you a call."
"Omg thank you! When do I start?" I ask.
"Your first shift starts tomorrow at 10:15 AM."
I nod and give her a small smile before picking up my bag and walking out.
'INCOMING CALL: ALEXA'
"Hey? What's up lex." I asked.
"So how did it go?"
"It was great, I'm hired! I start tomorrow." I say as I'm jumping around excited.
" THATS GREAT, now I can go get free coffee!" She yelled.
"Not gonna let you get a chance" I say as I giggle.
"I see how it is, anyways I gotta go, just calling to see how it went."
"Oh alright cya!"
"Bye."
I FINALLY get to my apartment, I took of my shoes and put them in the corner next to the door, I walked to the bathroom and started striping of my close, I stepped in the shower where the warm water hit my body and I immediately relaxed. I hop out the shower after about 15 minutes drying myself of with my white fluffy towel. I put on a black t-shirt and some jogger, I lay in bed and thought about how tomorrow is going to be a new start. 'My new start.'
