Roommate

(Imagine the room way bigger)

We were driving for about 15 minutes, until we hit a dead end, " Um Lauren, are we going the right way?" I asked.

"Mhm" she nodded, she started driving to the woods, "Lauren were are we going" I looked at her.

"My place duh" she says with sarcasm.

We were driving for another good 5 minutes, before we pulled up to a huge mansion with about 3 cars in front, it was at least a 4 story, there was a big statue of a mocking bird in the front and a mini waterfall. The mansion was made out of grey bricks, everything about it was beautiful.

"Are you coming or not?" She laughs, I was so lost in my thoughts I didn't notice she grabbed all my bags and we were walking in. As we walk in I was hit with the bright light that covered the entrance, as you walk in you see a long bright hallway with a curved stairway on the side. The walls were white,and so was everything else. "Wow" is all I can say.

"I'll show you your room, then I'll give you a tour!" She says exited. "Follow me, wait I'll let you chose." She smiles "2nd floor or 3rd floor?" She asked

"Umm 2nd?" I say,

"Ok then you'll be living on the 2nd floor next to me" she laughs, honestly I was really happy that I would be in the same house as Lauren, it gave me butterflies thinking about what's gonna be happening.

I was walking towards the stairs but Lauren stopped me, "not the stirs, the elevator, it's way easier."

"The what now!?" I asked again in disbelief.

" An elevator, something that brings you up or down floors" she says.

"No, I know but you have an elevator! That's not something you SEE or HEAR everyday in a HOUSE." I say, in a state of shock once again.

"Ohhh yeaa" she laughs, "then I'll show u the rest of the place once you unpack" she winked.

"And this is your room, enjoy roommate!" With those last words she left, closing the door behind her , leaving me by myself in my new room.

There was a huge wall window and a bed that looks like a KING size bed, all the walls were painted white, there were shelf's filled with plants. There was a sliding mirror closet, and another door that leads to the bathroom.
The bathroom was also normal, 1 sink and a glass clear shower.

After I started putting my clothes in the closet there was a knock at the door, "come in!" I yelled

She came in with a cute gray puppy that I think is a pit bull, " Aww who's this friend of yours" I asked

"This is Cleo my baby" she says and starting planting kissed on him everywhere, to be honest I was kinda jealous of the dog but I can't be, ITS A DOG!

"Anyways are you hungry? I can have my chef make you something after the tour. " she asked so casually.

"Your Che- you know what yea, I'm not even surprised you have a chief anymore" she laughs.

We were in the elevator going up the the 4th floor, "So what amazing floor is this one?" I asked.

"You'll see" she winks, once again my face went back to red, the elevator dinged which meant were here, the door opened and right in that moment I couldn't do anything, my eyes once again went wide, my mouth dropped, I was still as a statue "helloooo?! Are you there?" I hear Lauren ask.

"Amazing." Was all that came out.
