Patton's POV

When Remus charged, we all dodged quickly.
We knew that we would have to fight.
Me and Remus both had close-range weapons, whereas Logan had a wand, and Thomas had Romans sword, which was fairly long.
So, that meant that there was a good chance of me getting hurt. But he decided to hurt my kiddos.
He wasn't getting out of this.
I walked up to Remus, ready to hit him, and he was holding his mace, prepared to attack.
I swung at him and he swung his mace.
I managed to barely dodge, and Logan fired a spell at him.
We weren't trying to kill Remus, knowing that Thomas would need him, so Lo just knocked him over, yelling 'flipendo!'
Yeah, he knew Harry Potter spells. Besides, this was Imagination! Anything was possible!
After Remus fell, Thomas went to hit him on the head with the handle of Romans sword, but Remus was fast.
He got up, and swiped Thomas' legs out from under him, knocking Thomas over.
He hit his head hard, and I went to go check on him, while Logan and Remus continued the battle.
"Thomas, hey, kiddo? Are you okay?" I asked. He grunted, assuring me that he wasn't hurt that bad, but I knew it wasn't good.
I got up, making sure that Thomas wouldn't be in the middle of the fight, then went to help Lo with Remus.
"It's two against one, Remus!" Logan called. "Statistically, you're gonna lose!"
"Yes, but maybe I defy statistics!" Remus said, swiping his mace towards us.
I sighed. At this point, we'd never win.
Suddenly, I had an idea. I went over to Thomas, pretending to check up on him again.
"Hey Thomas," I whispered. "I have an idea." I quickly told him my idea, and he readily agreed.
I headed back to the fight, trying to trip Remus with my bö staff.
He dodged, and swung his mace, as I jumped back.
As we were doing this, Thomas was slowly making his way to Roman, and he started to untie him, slowly, carefully and most importantly, quietly.
After a little bit longer of this broken tango, Thomas had finished, and left.
"Logan! Let's go!" I whispered to Logarithm, so that he understood that Roman was untied.
He nodded, and we left.
——
When we got back, Roman went to the couch to rest, and I went to go tell Virgil.
I headed to his room, and knocked.
"Hey, kiddo! I have a surprise for you!" I said. I didn't hear anything from the other side of the door.
"Kiddo?" I asked, opening the door slowly.
He wasn't there.
"Uh, guys?" I called.
"Yeah," they said, suddenly appearing.
"Look!" I said, pointing into Virgils room. "He's not there!"
"Oh no..." said Logan. "Maybe..."
"Maybe what, Logarithm?" I asked.
"Maybe... I think Deceit trapped him in his old room! Thomas!" Logan said, turning to Thomas. "Try and get him!"
Thomas quickly summoned Virgil, and he looked terrible.
He had obviously been crying, as his makeup was messed up, and his hair was disheveled.
Suddenly, Roman was there.
"Vi-Virge?" Roman asked, then he hugged him.
Suddenly, Roman stiffened and stopped hugging him. "Shouldn't you go back to Janus?" Roman asked.
"H-Huh?" Virgil asked.
"Well, didn't you say that you wanted to get back together with Deceit? Maybe you should just go see him!" Roman said, and before anyone could explain, he left to his room, locking the door with an audible click.
Virgil was very confused. "Didn't you guys explain to him...?"
"Shoot..." I said, then I went to Romans door, knocking.
"Roman! It's just me, kiddo!" I said.
"Go. Away. Please." I could hear him crying.
"But, Roman, it just-" he cut me off.
"I. Don't. Care. Just, leave, Patton."
"Fine, but come talk to me later, alright kiddo?" I asked.
"Fine, just leave, please." Well, I guess I could explain later.

Romans POV

I cried and cried for hours.
My soulmate (however cliché that may sound) was in love with that snake.
Eventually, I cried myself out, and remembered that I told Patton that I'd talk to him later.
Well, it was much later.
I went and knocked on his door. "Patton? You said we could talk later..."
"Yeah, c'mon in kiddo!" Patton said, and the first thing I noticed when walking in was that Logan was there, too.
"Am I interrupting something? I can come back later, if you want..." I said, embarrassed.
"No, it's fine kiddo! Me and Lo were just talking about how I was going to explain this..." he trailed off.
"Explain what? The fact that Virgil fell in love with a snake?" I asked.
"Well... yes and no... you see," he started, and him and Logan explained that Virge wasn't actually in love, and that it was all to save me.
"Are you serious?" I asked, after they had completely explained.
"Well, yeah, of course, kiddo! Virgil's in love with you!" Patton said.
"Well, I suppose I'd better go talk to him, then..." I said, and left.
"Bye kiddo! Tell me how it goes!" Patton called as I left.
I knocked on Virgils door, and he answered right away. Obviously, he was waiting for me.
"Hey Princey. Did Patton explain everything?" He looked half-asleep already.
"Yeah, but-" he interrupted me, kissing me.
"Don't you ever think that I'd leave you for that snake! I would never in a million years!" Vi said.
"Hey, that's my line, mister!" I said, shaking a finger at him jokingly. "You're line is 'wow, that was cliché!'"
"Fine. That was cliché." There was zero enthusiasm in that, whatsoever.
"Yes, I know it was, but it's true." I said, then I kissed him.
He wrapped his arms around my neck, deepening the kiss, while I wrapped my arms around his waist, pulling him as close as humanly possible, then a bit more.
Eventually, we pulled away to breathe, smiling.
"I love you, Ro." Virge said, not stuttering or nervously whatsoever.
"Since when are you Mr. Brave?" I asked. "Usually, if you were to say that, you'd stutter, or be nervous... you're different!"
"Well, yeah. I had to live for 10 hours, by myself while thinking that you didn't love me... I'm not scared anymore, cause I know we're meant to be." Vi explained.
"Again, that's my line." I said, smirking.
He sighed. "Yes, and your other line from earlier was supposed to be 'I love you, too,' but you never said it, so... I suppose we both will live." Virge said, smiling.
"Well, I love you as well, Vi." I said.
"I know you do, Ro," he said, snuggling into my chest.
I smiled, and yawned.
"Time for bed, Ro?" Virgil asked.
"Yeah, I think so." I started to get up, but he grabbed my hand.
"Princey, do you wanna.... maybe..." I could tell he wouldn't be able to say it.
"Stay here? Sure, Virge." I said, laying down. He cuddled up next to me, and I fell asleep quickly, feeling Virges body there.

Hey guys! I hope you liked it!
