Sleep?

Virgils POV

"Who?" Roman asked.
"Um... I can't tell you guys..." Patton said.
"Patton, please. We want to help you, and to do that, we need to know who it is!" I exclaimed.
"Yeah Pat... do you want me to look like this?" Thomas asked, gesturing to himself.
"No, of course I don't want that, Thomas! But... if I tell you guys... he'll attack me..." Patton said, looking down.
"Well... then y'know what? Logan could probably come up with an idea... right?" I said, looking at Logan.
"Well, I could try, Virgil..." Logan trailed off, already deep in thought. Roman was also thinking.
"I've got it! If we have Patton tell us yes or no to who he is, even if he can't say 'yes', we bring Janus here, and he'll be able to tell us if he's lying!" Ro exclaimed.
"Great idea, Ro." I said.
"I wasn't called?" Deceit said, suddenly appearing next to me.
"Yeah, Janus, we need you to tell us if Patton's lying or not, okay?" I said.
"Sounds difficult. Never done it before." Janus said with a ghost of a smile on his face.
"Thanks Jan." I said, using the nickname in a friendly way, and he smiled, realizing that I forgave him for kidnapping Roman so long ago, since he helped save me and Kingsley.
"Okay... Patton, is it-" Logan was cut off, as another Side appeared.
"Guys, I wanna help, I swear." Paranoia said, arms raised as he popped up.
"Um... who's this?" Thomas asked.
"Oh, hi Thomas... I'm your Paranoia..." Kole (that's his name, and only Virgil knows it) said.
"Okay... hi Paranoia..." Thomas said, uncomfortably. I mean, you would be, too, if you were meeting your own Paranoia, would you not be?
"Anyway, I want to help you guys with Patton. I realized something was off with him, and I wanted to try and help."
"Thanks Paranoia." I said. "You didn't need to do this."
"I do though, Virgil. I have a feeling I know who is doing this to Patton, and if it is him... well, neither of us will like it, I'll tell you that much." Kole said, and I realized immediately who it was.
"Patton, is it Insanity?" I asked right away.
"No." Patton said.
"Lie." Janus said, without blinking an eye.
"I swear to go-odness, I'll kill that little-" I started.
"Kiddo, don't worry, I'm sure if you tell him about this, he'll stop!" Patton said, trying to calm me... it wasn't working.
"Patton, he made you starve yourself!!" I said, close to yelling.
"Okay, calm down Virgil... neither me nor you are happy about this... let's go talk in the kitchen, okay?" Kole said, coming closer to me slowly.
"Okay..." I said, and we went into the kitchen.
"What are we gonna do?" Kole asked, leaning against the counter.
"Well... Patton would never let us hurt him unprovoked... or at all, really..." I trailed off, thinking.
"We've gotta get Insanity to stop, or else..." Kole trailed off as well, and I knew what he meant.
"How can we make Patton eat though? Or sleep?" I asked Kole.
"Well... remember Remy?" I nodded. "He's Thomas' Sleep. Maybe if I asked him to pay Patton a visit, he could help... as for food... I'm not sure how."
"Well, let's focus on one thing at a time. Can you grab Remy?" I asked.
"Yeah, sure. I'll be a minute." Paranoia said, and he disappeared, then reappeared a minute later with Remy, holding his typical Starbucks coffee.
"Hey Remy." I greeted.
"So, Kole said that there's a Side that can't sleep?" Remy asked.
"Yep. Morality, or Patton." I said.
"Well, let's go try and get him to sleep. I've noticed Thomas wouldn't sleep well lately..."
"Okay, he's right over here." I said, leading Remy into the living room.
Patton was still there, having a conversation with Logan, but it was still like he was only half there.
"Hey guys. I'm Sleep, but you can call me Remy." Remy introduced himself.
There was some scattered 'hi's and 'nice to meet you's.
"So... is this Patton?" Remy asked, going right towards Patton.
"Yep, that's me." Patton said, unenthusiastically.
"So, I've heard you can't sleep well, right?" Patton nodded. "So you're the one who's been interfering with my job... anyway, I'll try guys, but I don't promise... usually I help Thomas fall asleep, and choose his dreams, and sometimes I'll do it to other Sides, too... but I've never made a Side fall asleep before."
"Well, just try please, Remy." Logan said. You could tell Logan wasn't taking this lightly.
"Okay." Remy cracked his knuckles, then crouched down to Patton's level, looking at him in the eyes.
He stared at Patton for awhile, but I could see he was trying.
Eventually, I noticed Patton's eyelids were drooping.
"It's working." I whispered to no one in particular. Ro moved closer to me, grabbing my hand.
"Yeah, it is... he'll get some much needed sleep... then we have to figure out how to get him to eat." Ro said.
"Yeah... but let's let him sleep, and brainstorm later, okay?" I asked.
"Okay, I suppose we should let him sleep peacefully... Remy, do you have to be near Patton to keep him asleep?" Princey asked.
"No, I don't believe so, but I have to go..." Remy said.
"Okay, that's fine... se you later, Rem." I said, and Remy left.
"Why were you wondering that, Roman?" Logan asked.
"Well... we need to get back at Insanity, and if Patton wakes up and hears us, he'll tell us not to." Roman explained.
"Okay. Let's go into the kitchen, so that we can see if Pat wakes up, but so that he hopefully won't be woken up by us, or be able to hear us." Logan said, and we all headed into the kitchen.
"So... what can we do to get Insanity to stop? I know that 'asking him' as Patton suggested won't work..." Logan said.
"Yeah, he's literally insane... it's his job... does anyone have any ideas?" I asked.
There were a lot of 'no's and a 'yes' from Janus, but it was obviously a lie.
"Well... let's think. Logan, Roman, I think you two would be the most useful, perhaps even Virgil. Roman, he could use his creativity to come up with a plan, and Logan and Virgil could look over it, Logan seeing if there's a flaw, and Virgil looking at every possibility." Kole said.
"Great idea, Ko-Paranoia." I said.
Everyone looked at me.
"I said nothing..." I said, looking down, hating the attention.
After a minute, we went back to planning.
We realized that he wouldn't be in the same place as last time. Kole and I knew he was fairly smart... sometimes.
We quickly figured out where he'd be...

Yay, cliffhanger! Don't worry, if I don't post the next part when I post this one, it'll probably be soon... probably.
Anyway, I'll start on the next part, and hopefully y'all will like it... I have absolutely nothing planned, btw guys, so... we'll have to wait and see what happens! So,
