Jessica's POV
A layer of sweat lay over my forehead as the ranging pain had now turned into slight tingles, I sighed as the feeling of numbness took over the bottom half of my body. Closing my eyes I let out a sigh of relief the excruciating pain had finally stopped but my worries still clouded over my head.
Was pickle going to be ok?! I stared at the nurse that stood next to me, she was a woman in her mid 30's every now and then a stray piece of her brown locks would block her vision causing her to huff and move it behind her ear.
"Is everything ok with my baby?" I asked with a weak voice,
She looked away from her clipboard and looked at me with reassurance,
"We are doing everything possible to make sure you and your baby get delivered safely for now I need you to relax"
I nodded and let a sigh of relief escape my body. A few nurses wheeled in medical instruments that were most probably going to be used in the c-section, time started to go quicker and as the clock continued to tick I couldn't help but feel nervous even thought I knew it's best to stay calm I couldn't help it pickle was my last resort to happiness I couldn't have him be snatched away from me like everyone else I JUST COULDN'T LET THAT HAPPEN!
I felt tears start to form in my eyes at the thought of someone being snatched away from my life again.
"Ms D'angelo please don't cry everything will be okay we will do everything in our power to make sure you and your baby are safe just please stay calm" the nurse with the kind eyes tried comforting me with reassuring words.
I nodded my head and tried to calm myself down.
Leon's POV
We enter one by one and as expected my eyes find their way to the different cameras scattered around the hallways if we want to try break Diane out of this place we are going to have to find blind spots where the camera can't see and alert the werewolf council. I looked at Jaxon and whispered as we marched in synchronisation with a nearby troop of guards that we had found upon entrance,
"Look for the cameras blind spots there must be at least one this whole building can't be fully heavily guarded we will take down one camera at a time if we need to"
He nodded at me and looked forward. According to Jess, Di's body was kept near the main office where the leader of the wolf council John McCall resided meaning Diane's body lay in the place that had the most cameras this was going to be as hard as we thought.
My eyes scanned the room looking for a room a small corner that had no view from the cameras but I was left defeated, there was nothing absolutely NOTHING.
I looked at Jaxon needing help but it seemed as thought he was in the same position as me. We continued marching not really knowing where this troop was taking us.
Before we knew the troop split in half and started to go in different directions me and my men decided to follow the ones that went into a much grander hallway although we were sure there were going to be many cameras here we knew that this was the closest area to Diane.
I let my eyes wander each side of the hallway desperately looking for something... anything and before I could take in another breathe my eyes wondered into a dark and small corner in the hallway.
Me and Jaxon's eyes met almost as if we both were thinking the same thing, the cameras only had view of the front few men in the troop and not the back where me and my men were so with that as soon as we got close to the corner we all slid into it although small somehow we had all fit in.
