I left Phoenix alone after a while as I had understood that she preferred to be left alone. I walked down the hall way greeting people along the way as for some reason now the whole pack knew me.

I was suddenly stopped by Alpha Leons beta Jaxon,

"Jessica Alpha wishes to speak to you" he said,

I nodded and followed him to Alpha Leon's office. Jaxon stopped at Alpha Leon's office doors,

"I will be leaving you here knock before entering" and with that he left,

I walked up to the door and knocked. I waited until I heard Alpha Leon's voice and then entered.

He gave me a smile as I entered which I returned with my own smile. He gestured for me to sit which I did happily as the chair seemed very comfortable.

"I called you in to say sorry for shouting at you when Everlyn had gotten hurt" he said looking at me and then his hands,

"Oh it's completely fine I had forgotten about it anyway" I replied,

"Oh I see... but I still can't forgive myself for acting that way especially to my brothers beta I had promised to look after you"

"Oh really did my alpha make you promise that and if he did I hope you know that I don't usually need looking after" I looked at him with a lifted eyebrow,

He for some reason then started laughing, which made me view him as more of a kid then anything,

I lifted my eyebrow once more in confusion,

"How... how do you do that" he said while laughing and pointing at my one lifted eyebrow,

"Oh you mean this" I said while putting my eyebrow down and then up again which had seemed to have set of his laughter once more, I found myself smiling as he laughed like a little child.

He suddenly stopped laughing and straightened his suit with his hand.

"Anyway I called you here to ask for forgiveness which I ended up getting and also for friendship" he said putting his hand out for me to shake if I agree to being friends.

I gave him a smile and shook that hand of his.

A few months later...

I was talking to Alpha Leon when I had suddenly gotten a text. I picked up my phone to see it was a text from someone that was not on my contacts. I quickly opened up the text,

I know where you are my darling mate don't think that just because you rejected me I will give up on you and do stop laughing with that Alpha of yours it makes me awfully jealous or maybe that's what you want...

I looked behind me in fear and as soon as I did I got another text,

There's no point in looking behind you I won't be there even though you probably are dying to see me...

My heart beat quickened why can't this guy just stop following me.

Alpha Leon looked at me worried,

"What's wrong? Why do you look so scared"

I just quickly passed him my phone which had gone off again as soon he had held it,

He quickly read the messages and looked at me worried.

"Is this that mate of yours the one that rejected you" he asked
