The girl sitting in Sophie's seat was definetly new. Sophie may be considered oblivious by Marella and Biana, but that was only in very . . . certain situations. With a photographic memory, it was very easy to notice that the girl hadn't benn here before. It wasn't just that, that made her stand out, she was also very beautiful. She had elegant, asian features, and beautiful grey-blue eyes. Her cheeks were a soft pink, unlike when Sophie's cheeks, which often heated up to the shade of a nasty sunburn. What stood out the most though, was the silky dark hair, with silver tips. It accented her eyes perfectly.

Sophie, not wanting to tell the girl to leave, sat in the only other available seat in her row. That was the seat right next her. Sophie wasn't an extrovert by nature, but the girl looked very uncomfortable. Before Sophie could talk herself out of it, she  spoke to her.

"So, uh, you play the flute too?" Sophie asked, akwardly. She was not the best at small talk.

The girl smiled. "Yeah." she affirmed. "Tam's not, though." Was Tam her boyfriend or something? As if sensing Sophie's confusion, her rosy cheeks flushed pleasantly. "Oh!" she said. "Tam's my twin. He's my opposite, I guess you could say, but we, we stick together. He may be grumpy, and cocky, and sacastic, and basically everything I'm not, but, still. He's my brother. Hey, thanks for talking to me, I was worried about people not wanting to meet me."

Sophie smiled. "Well, it's nice to meet you, Linh." she said. "I'm Sophie."

Lihn smiled, and the two continued talking. Sophie found out that Linh was "The Water Girl." She was an excelent swimmer, and she had swim meet almost every other day. Her parents worked with, surprise, surprise, Keefe's dad, athough the twins had never met Keefe. They had moved here from a few states away, and started school today.

Sophie told Linh about her first three weeks of school, and that she was also new this year.  The two seemed to be warming up quickly, and Sophie could tell that Linh was super nice. Once band was over, Linh went to the office to get a map. Like every day, Keefe strolled up to Sophie.

"'Sup, Foster!" He said, grinning like crazy. "Happy to see me? Never mind, I know you are. So, how about a romantic stroll to your next class?"

Sophie smirked, and then covered her mouth in fake horror. "Look!" she exclaimed. "It's Grady!"

Keefe yelped, and ducked to the ground, covering his neck and crouching, like they tell you to do if there is an earthquake.

Sophie burst out laughing. "Hahaha!" she said. "Totally got you back!"

Keefe stood up, and crossed his arms. "Yeah, yeah." he said acting grumpy, although he was grinning.

"See you at lunch, Keefe." she said, still very pleased with herself.

Keefe winked. "Looking forward to it."

Sophie raised her eyebrow, and quickly walked away. "Bye, Keefe." She said, not even bothering to turn around. Keefe just grinned.
