Do y'all like the art of Biana and Sophie?? I did it myself . . . -->>
It's one of my first attempts at KotLC art, so bear with me . . . .. Plus it was literally made with only pen, printer paper, and crayola colored pencils . . . so, my resources were limited.😂😌😁
Sophie held up a crimson top, looking in the mirror. Biana had given it to her. Sophie did like the color, but somewhere in the back of Sophie's stubborn mind, a voice kept reminding her to blend into the background at all costs. Zip it. Sophie told herself, with relish, quickly changing into the cute top before she could change her mind.
Sophie fidgeted with her hair, and even tried to braid it, but it looked terrible. Straight hair it was. Well, unless she wanted to look like she had been electrocuted. She pulled on some Converse high-tops, and laced them up.
Her stomach was filled with little fluttery things, and she was trying hard to deny the reason. She was going to see Fi--her friends! Fitz and her friends. Her friends and Fitz. Same thing. Fitz was her friend. Ugh.
The truth was, she hadn't actually seen Fitz in a while. Sure, they said hello in the hallways and stuff, but she hadn't actually talked to Fitz since the sleepover. And she couldn't shake the feeling that he was avoiding her. She tried to tell herself that he sat at a different table. And that he was busy. Really busy. She was even seeing less of Keefe then usual. Although, that was still a lot of time.
Despite all this, she was very excited. She was heading to the Vackers, with Grady and Edaline, and all her friends would be there.
Juline, Della, and Edaline seemed to have a gathering for everything. They shared recipes, lifestyle tips, yoga routines, and basically just a bunch of stuff Sophie didn't understand. They could probably create their own podcast at this point. Sometimes it scared her. Keefe had dubbed them "The Health-Nut Club," according to Biana, and the name was kind of stuck.
This week, instead of a meeting, they were doing a huge get-together, and inviting the husbands and kids. Keefe was coming, courtesy of Fitz, and the Song Twins were coming, courtesy of Sophie. Sophie had wanted her friend Marella to come too, but she was at a friend's house for a sleepover, and most likely spending the evening gossiping to her heart's content.
So, basically, Sophie was getting ready for the biggest friend gathering she'd had . . . ever. No wonder she had butterflies(Well, more than usual, since she would be around a certain person). Not to mention Keefe, Grady and Tam in one house. Trouble was around the corner. Inevitable trouble. Still. She was super, super excited.
By the time Sophie and Grady got into the car(Edaline had gotten a ride with Juline, so that they could to their "warm-ups," whatever the heck that meant), Sophie had made sure that all of the animals were safely in their enclosures.
Sophie and her dad pulled up the Vacker's lane, and Sophie couldn't help but laugh. This. Was going to be fun.

Sophie's first view was a circle of women massaging their faces. Scratch that, Sophie's mother, and her friend's moms massaging their faces. Della was the first to notice Grady and Sophie staring.
