I woke up from a soft bed with big pillows around me at nakita ko mula sa bahagyang nakabukas na kurtina ang medyo madilim na kalangitan. There is no trace of rays from the sun.

I walked out of the room para sana bumaba nang mapansin ko na kaunting nakabukas ang pinto ng katabing kwarto ni Vynz. Hindi pa ako nakakapasok sa kwartong iyon because I thought na isa lang din itong normal na kwarto sa penthouse niya. Out of curiosity ay pinasok ko ang kwartong iyon. The room is a combination of white and pastel pink kaya nasisiguro ko na babae ang may-ari ng kwartong ito.

I looked around the room. There is a pink queen size bed and white pillows. There is a small library and study table on the side of the room. A side table near the bed at may nakapatong na mga picture frame doon. I walked towards the side table at isa isang tinignan ang mga frames na naroon. The first frame is Vynz and Hoax at isang lalaki na kamukha ni Vynz. Maybe it's their father. Kasama rin sa picture na iyon ang dalawang babae. The first woman resembles the second.

I stared on the second woman in the picture. There is also a picture of Vynz and the woman. Vynz was in front of his laptop at hindi nakatingin while the woman was smiling widely on the camera. Nakita ko ng malapitan sa isang frame na naroon ang babae. This can't be. I can feel my hands shaking habang hawak ko ang isang frame.

"Mirae." Nabitawan ko ang frame dahil sa tawag ni Vynz, mabuti na lang ay agad siyang nakalapit at nasalo ang frame kaya hindi iyon nabasag.

"Sorry, hindi dapat ako pumasok dito," I muttered at akmang lalabas ng pigilan ako ni Vynz. Itinago ko sa likod ang kamay ko because its still shaking.

"It's okay, this was Aleesha's room. My sister." Fuck! I know na ang tinutukoy niya ay ang babae sa picture. It's his sister. Control your emotions, Mirae! Pretend, diyan ka magaling.

"I thought si Hoax lang ang kapatid mo," Mahinang sambit ko.

Iginiya niya ako sa kama, pinaupo niya ako doon at tumabi naman siya sa'kin bago sumagot. "No, she died last year."

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked."

"Sisiguraduhin ko na magbabayad ang may gawa noon sa kanya," He muttered coldly.

"Why? What happened."

"She was brutally killed and we didn't even recognized her face. We conducted a DNA test and it came out positive." What the fuck?! Brutally killed?

"K-kilala niyo na ba kung sino ang gumawa noon sa kapatid mo?" I stammered. It wasn't fake.

"Malapit na. How are you feeling, by the way. You okay now?"

"Yeah, I was just shocked. I don't know kung kanino galing iyon or kung bakit ako pinadalhan ng ganoon." I know that it was Elliott Ledesma. Bago ko naitulak ang box ay nabasa ko ang nakasulat sa maliit na papel na naroon. I hope you like my gift, Lozano. That's what is written.

"Don't worry. I would find the sender. Come on let's go downstairs. Nagluluto ako ng dinner."

We went to the dining area of his penthouse at naabutan namin sa kabisera si Callum at sa kaliwa naman ay si Hoax at Ryder.

"You're here, Mirae!" Masiglang bati sa akin ni Callum. Isang ngiti ang Isinagot ko sa kanya ng makalapit kami.

Si Vynz ay dumiretso sa countertop para tingnan ang niluluto niya. The dining room and the kitchen is an open space kaya naman nasa harap lang ng countertop ang dining table.

I sat down on the chair in front of Hoax pero sa gawi ni Vynz ako nakaharap.

"Who's the sender, Hoax." Vynz asked while tasting the food he's cooking. He must be referring to the sender of that damn head.
