So here I am in the kitchen listening to Lexi and Lee fight about who gets to hang out with me first. Which is pretty stupid if you ask me but I'm not in the mood to intervene since I'm not sure how to feel about Lee and I's friendship.

"You know you'll have to get married soon" I turn to the voice and come face to face with the black haired maid. She is very beautiful when you get passed the creepy black eyes and really pale skin.

"I'm too young to get married, I haven't even finished school yet" I have plans that need editing due to Dev but I still have plans.

"You'll only go to the realm of the living after you marry him" she walks away to wipe the sink and her words hit me hard. I have to marry him to leave this place! That's not fair.

Who makes these rules! I face palm myself, catching Lexi and Lee's attention. Gosh I'm so stupid and here I was thinking I'm going to have a talk with Dev so that I can get back to school but nope, I need to marry him. I don't even love him, I barely know him.

"Grace don't worry about what she said, at least you'll stay married unlike someone I know" Lexi says rolling her eyes away from Lee.

"Don't test me you skank!" Lee shouts and I'm completely lost, was she married?

"You don't like to hear the hard truth you serpent!" Lexi hisses and I some how know things are about to get physical.

"You bi-"

"Okay wait, you were married?, What are y'all talking about?" I'd love to at least understand what the war is going to be about.

"None of your business" Lee spits at me as she walks out of the kitchen and disappears. I turn to Lexi and she starts talking.

"Well a lot of people don't really know this but Lilith was Adams first wife"

"What?! No ways, you're lying!" It can't be true. The story says Adam and Eve, nobody has heard about Lilith.

"Yep" she pops the 'p', "they were married but then things didn't exactly work out and well the big man created Eve for Adam because he was so lonely after the break up then boom they fell in love and trust me when I say, Lilith was not happy about it at all" she bites into an apple and I'm sitting still, still stunned by this new information.

All of this was never and isn't in the Bible or atleast I've never heard of it in all the biblical stories I've heard.

"So rumor has it that Lilith was the serpent that manipulated Adam and Eve to have sex an-"

"Wait wait wait, you're saying that she was the snake that convinced them to do what?, didn't they just eat the forbidden fruit from some sacred tree in the garden of Eden?" I'm confused.

"Bitch the forbidden fruit is and will always be sex!" She shouts causing me to flinch. "So as I was saying, rumor has it, Lilie was the reason they had sex so that God could throw them out cause, well, she hated them and the plan worked but unfortunately not everything went her way"

"What do you mean?" The curiousity is killing me.

"When Adam was banished with Eve, she fell pregnant and man did that piss Lilie off, she started to hate kids and not to forget how women ended up bleeding every month and well the rest is history" she finishes off and throws away the remaining apple.

"And you are sure she was the snake?" I don't think Lee would do it, I know she is crazy but she can't be that crazy.

"Like I said, rumor has it. Nobody is a 100% about it" she shrugs.

"I see" I'm not sure if it's true but I doubt it, I don't trust her because of finding out she was a fake friend all this time. But I atleast know her well enough to know she wouldn't become a serpent just for revenge. She is a good person.

"So Grace, do you really hate your family that much?" And she ruins the moment. I stand up and head towards my room. I'm not in the mood to talk about my ex-family.

"I'm sorry!" She shouts behind me and I don't reply.

I walk into my room and on my bed is two boxes, one shaped like a heart and the other is a square. I opt for the heart shaped one first and it's chocolates. Rose shaped chocolates and some are lotus shaped with intials on them. I wonder what they mean.

I open the black square box and it's a beautiful black lace dress. It's Dev's present for me, does he want me to wear this? Is it going to even fit me, I'm so thick and my ass probably won't fit in it.

I hear a knock on the door and as soon as I open it, I'm left speechless. Dev stands infront of me with roses mixed with sunflowers and it's so beautiful. He looks so good too, oh God!

I hope I'm not drooling. "Kiah are you going to say something?" Oh crap I've been staring at him.

"Uh yeah come in"

He walks in and puts the flowers down on the bedstand, "you haven't tried it on?" He asks me and I'm not sure if I should tell him its too small.

"Uhm... Well I just saw it" which is true, I'm not lying.

"Okay, you can take your time, we are going out on a date in an hour so get ready" he says walking out

"Wait what?"

"Yeah I'll see you in an ho-" Dev gets thrown back into my room and connects with the wall so hard. What the...

"I heard you found your mate" a tall man with chocolate skin says walking in.

"Gabriel I should have known you were coming",Dev says coughing out with a huge grin on his face. How can he even smile, isn't he hurt?

"Oh dear brother of mine, you know I wouldn't miss the opportunity to meet her" the guy who apparently is Gabriel says.

"Dear twin of mine, be careful"

Wait this is thee gabriel! And did he just say twin? But how?

His head snaps in my direction and something in me says I'm about to get hurt. "Let's have some fun shall we?" And in those seconds he heads for me so fast that it's a blur and he gets to me before Dev or I can comprehend it.

And the first thing I feel is a blow to my stomach...

I honestly can't keep drama out of it.😂
The amount of research I do for this book, Lilith was actually Adams first wife(shocker I know) and you'll soon find out what really happened to her.❤
