Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to British International Airport Terminal 5 London Field. Local time is 8:00 in the evening and the temperature is 10 degress .

For your safety and comfort, please remain seated with your seat belt fastened until the Captain turns off the fasten seat belt sign.

This will indicate that we have parked at the gate and that it is safe for you to move about.

Please check around your seat for any personal belongings you may have brought on board with you and please use caution when opening the overheaf bins, as heavy articles may have shifted around during the flight.

Pagkatapos ng anunsyo yun piloto. Agad namin tinanggal ang seatbelt at tumayo kami, inayos ang cabin crew seat kung saan kami nakaupo. Binuksan ko ang pinto ng aircraft. Nakapwesto kami upang hintayin ang assist namin for the passengers and babatiin namin sila kapag lalabas na sila ng eroplano.

"Thankyou for flying us" paulit ulit kong bati sa bawat pasahero na lalabas ng eroplano. Puro ngiti lang ako sa kanila. Dapat smiley kahit ano manyari, ganun ang trabaho bilang isang Flight Attendant.

Naging Flight Attendant ako sa NewYork Airways sa New York. Nag work ako sa government ng NewYork yun inoffer sakin ni Eliz sa loob ng isang taon before ako nagwork as F.A.

It was unexpected na nagtrabaho ako as Flight Attendant. Wala sa isip ko yun before, biglaan lang ganun.

4 years na ako nagtrabaho bilang Flight Attendant. Nung pumasok ako sa mundo ng Aviation, na culture shock ako dahil wala akong time masyado to spend with my family and friends. Lagi ako may flight. Medyo bihira ako makakauwi sa pinas. Puro work ang inaatupag ko.

It's christmas eve, hindi ko na naman sila kasama mag noche buena. Medyo nalulungkot ako pero need tanggapin iyon. Wala ako magagawa, nasa part ng isang flightattendant eh. Need magtrabaho. Hindi rin ako pwede magleave kasi ang hectic ng flight schedule.

Nasa hotel kami kung saan kami tumutuloy for layover. Walang ganap ang christmas eve namin, kundi magpahinga need namin bumawi sa rest dahil galing kami sa mahabang flight hours.

Umupo ako sa bed at sumandal sa wall tsaka I opened my laptop.

Una, tinawagan ko si mama through video call sa skype. Nag ring until sinagot ito.

"Mama!" Sabay kaway at ngumiti ako sa camera.

"Anak! Kakarating niyo ba dyan?" masayang  tanong niya

"Kanina pa po ma, by the way po.. merry christmas mama.. pasensya ulit ah wala ako dyan" sabay sad reaction ako

Nalungkot din si mama  "merry christmas din anak, naiitindihan ni Mama... May susunod pang christmas eh malay mo kasama ka namin.."

Ngumuso ako at parang iiyak na "thank you sa pagintindi mo sakin ah.." hanggang sa lumabas ang luha sa mata ko "next christmas talaga Mama.. kasama niyo na ako dyan" sabay ngiti at pinunasan ang luha sa pisngi ko
