Xiao Zhan has been working as a social worker in a residential care home since 4 years. Even though he is the lowest ranked of all the employees, he is happy with his job and enjoys to go to work every day. 

But then he gets a new manager of care and his initial joy soon turns into frustration. The new manager of care does not seem to like him, and often the two get into a fight.

But does his new supervisor really hate him? Will they get along? Or must Zhan give up and find a new job?

Xiao Zhan is 28 years old. The story is told from his EGO perspective.

Zhan has an older sister with whom he shares an apartment after his parents moved to relatives in another city.

The trained graphic designer, lost his job and retrained as a social worker.

Wang Yibo is 24 years young and has an older brother. Both live with their parents, who, just like Yibo and his older brother, work in the field of elderly care.

Through hard work, Yibo manages to climb the career ladder and becomes a manager of care. When he is transferred to a new area, he is less happy. Since he would have much rather worked with his brother in one area.

More about these two, will be told little by little in the story.
