Two more days went on before the storm ended. Some sand had moved into the shipping container, causing Newt and Elaine to move further back then they originally were.

Now they wonder the desert in search for the plane hanger. Elaine's leg had gotten better to the point where she was now able to walk on it.

She stopped on a sand dune and took out her compass. Newt coming up behind her, and standing at her side.

Elaine moved the compass from left to right until it pointed to 178° South.

"The hanger should be over those dunes" Elaine said pointing to far away tall sand dune.

Newt nodded then sat down taking his water bottle out of his pack.
"Do you know how to fly a plane" Newt asked.
"...Yeah" Elaine said unsure. She hasn't really thought about it, but she figured the man she knew, Paulo, would give her a few tips.

Newt looked at her a bit shocked by Elaine's unsure answer, but decided not to say anything.

Elaine had sat down next to Newt, before they eventually started to head towards the sand dunes.

As they got to the foot of the tall sand mountain, Elaine examined it a bit more. It was a steep sand dune, but Newt and Elaine could make it.

They were almost to the top when Elaine slipped and almost tumbled down the sand dune if it were t for Newt grabbing her hand. And immediately butterflies erupted in both there stomachs.

"Thanks" Elaine said dusting off her pants as they stood at the top of the sand dune.
"Your welcome" Newt said standing right beside her.

Coincidentally a huge gust of wind came from behind the two, causing Elaine to stumble and grab onto Newt, which sent both of them tumbling down the sand dune.

When they got to the bottom Newt was on top of Elaine, who was trying to assess what just happened.

Newt awkwardly got off of Elaine and helped her up.
"Are you ok?" He asked.

Elaine nodded her head and looked over to the right and saw an array of yellow lights, inside of a big shadowy figure.

"The hanger" Elaine pointed out as a smile crept up onto her face.
"We're almost home" Newt said with a toothy smile.

As they neared the hanger, Elaine got an uneasy feeling in her stomach, but quickly pushed it aside. The sun was slowly rising, giving off a pretty ombré of gold, orange, and yellow.

There was a small room attached to the hanger that acted as the office, that had a window next to the door. Which gave off a warm yellow glow.

Elaine slowly opened the door to reveal an empty office with its dim lights on.
"Abandoned?" Newt asked looking through some of the scattered papers on the desk.
"No, Paulo would never leave his hanger" Elaine explained and looked at the other door that lead into the hanger. She made her way over to the door and opened it.

The hanger was huge, and it had almost a musky smell to it.

And the plane was still landed, untouched. It's red strips slowly fading.

"Maybe a crank infestation?" Newt suggested.
Elaine looked at him with a face that said "Really?" "Does it look like this place has been ransacked with cranks" Elaine said with sarcasm.

Suddenly there was a rustle at the back of the hanger, which caused Newt and Elaine to become cautious.
"On second thought maybe-" Elaine was about to say before a tall man with grey hair and beard stepped out from behind a stack of boxes.

The man was dressed in a blue jump suit, and black boots.
"Paulo?" Elaine questioned, she hadn't seen him in about 4 months, and surprisingly he looked a bit different. He hadn't shaved his beard, but he'd cut his hair.
"Elaine, wh-what are you doing here?" He asked looking just as surprised as she was.
"Well I, uh, I need the plane" Elaine said.
"Right" he said, he just stared at Elaine for a couple minutes and glancing at Newt a couple times. "Let me, let me just go get the keys?" Paulo said before leaving into the office, rather quickly. He shut the door behind him which caused a loud bang.

"Is he always this bloody nervous?" Newt asked confused.
"No, never" Elaine said shocked and confused.

Then she took notice to a bounty paper on the wall next to the door that she hadn't noticed when they first walked in.

She inches closer to it and noticed it was her.

She was the one with the bounty.

The paper read:

$200,000

Appearance:
Chestnut brown hair
Bright blue eyes
5'6-5'7 (guessed height)
Wearing a dark green shirt, beige jacket, and jeans. With boots and a tan messenger bag.

Contact Rebel Authorities if she is spotted or found.

Panic rose in Elaine as she read the hung paper on the wall. She was being hunted and she didn't even know it, and she was dragging Newt along with her.

"Oh no, no, no, no" Elaine panicked her hands flying up to her hair in frustration.

Newt was behind her reading the paper.
"Oh Newt I-I'm so sorry" Elaine said turning to face him.
"I-it's alright, lets just get outta here" Newt said and grabbed Elaines wrist pulling her with him to the exit by the big hanger doors.

The door swung open, as they hoped to get away and get to safety, only to be met with about six WICKED jeeps, and ten guards with there guns pointed directly at Newt and Elaine.

Newt immediately grabbed Elaine's hand, which she didn't care at this point.

Suddenly Elaine spotted a stray plane in the left corner of her eye. She tightened her grip on Newt hand, and prepared to make a run for it.

Elaine pulled Newt behind her as she ran for her life. He was confused at what she was doing until he spotted the plane up ahead. They were almost to the plane before it exploded to pieces sending Newt and Elaine stumbling backwards.

"Oh no..." Elaine mumbled.

And before she could look at Newt she felt an unexpected sting in her left arm, as she looked she realized it was a tranquilizer dart. Her vision went fuzzy and before she knew it she hit to the sand and her vision went black.

"Elaine!" Newt panicked and knelt down beside her, only to be hit with a tranquilizer and fall down beside her.
