Elaine slowly opened her eyes to see Newts smiling face and sat up as she got a pounding headache, and grabbed her head only to realize how sore it was.
"You hit your head", Newt said smiling at the fact that she was awake as he took a cloth to dab off some of the dried blood on her head.
"I can barely remember anything", Elaine said in a worried tone.
"It's ok that's normal", Newt said with a slight chuckling.
"Why are you laughing"? Elaine asked confused.
"You have to be the cutest bed head I have ever seen", Newt said as he laughed a little harder.
Elaine slightly laughed as she punched him on the shoulder.
"Hey!" Newt said still laughing.
After they had stopped laughing they sat there in silence looking at each other until Newt went to lean in for a kiss, but this was wonderful timing for Anna to pop in.
She interrupted them as she yelled from across the fire, "get a room!"
Newt and Elaine pulled apart smiling looking rather annoyed at Anna.
Elaine then looked at Newt and they both got a mischievous look on there face then suddenly they grabbed their blankets and threw them at Anna, laughing.

Anna had put her hands up to her face trying to block herself from getting hit, but Newt and Elaine were faster and she got hit in the face.
They all sat there laughing for a few minutes.
"Alright I'm going to refill my water jug at the river and give you two some time without any interruptions," Anna said chuckling as she went down to the river.
Newt and Elaine looked over at each other smiling.
"You know I should probably lean in quicker from now on," Newt chuckled looking at Elaine.
"Yea I guess so," Elaine laughed as well.
Newt then looked back at Elaine after laughing.
He then leaned in rather fast and kissed her.
She loved it when he surprised her like that.
After a couple of seconds Newt pulled away and said in a soft tone with his forehead leaning on hers, "We should probably start packing before Anna comes back."
"Yea I suppose we should", Elaine said as she started packing up her things.
After Anna came back from the river they headed off.
Anna and Elaine noticed that as they kept walking Newt's smile kept getting bigger.
"Alright that's enough! are you ever going to tell us what you're smiling about?" Anna asked a little frustrated.
"You'll see," Newt said getting even more excited.
The girls were anxious to see what Newt was so excited about.
After a few more hours of walking the girls finally understood what Newt was so excited about.
As they rose over a sand dune and looked down they saw it.
They saw the place where Newt and all of his friends lived until they went to the safe haven.
It was vacant now but there was still some things laying around.

As they got down to the vacant camp they saw Newt's face fill with excitement as he went over to where he slept and where Thomas, Minho, and Frypan slept.
It brought back so many memories for Newt, some happy and some sad.
"What do we do now?" Elaine asked looking around.
"From here, safe haven is about one days journey by boat", Newt said looking out over the water.
That made Elaine and Anna very happy to hear, but the only problem was that there were no working boats.
"Will any of the boats work?" Elaine asked as she and Newt looked at some of the small boats that were left behind.
"Yes, but it will take a while for me to fix one up," Newt said while looking around.

After a little while it started to get dark so Elaine went and built a fire.
Newt came over and was going to ask if he could help but he could see that she was doing just fine on her own.
Pretty soon they were all sitting by the fire talking about anything and everything.
"What are your friends like?" Anna asked Newt, (secretly wondering if there were any cute boys).
"Well, Minho, huh, oh Minho," Newt said with a slight chuckle.
"Minho showed up in the glade only a few months after me, we were always good friends. He was our number one runner, he was also the sassiest one out of all of us." Newt chuckled a bit at the fun
"Now as for Thomas, he was one of our newest greenies. We became friends rather quickly. He was definitely born to be a leader. He kind of reminds me of you," Newt said looking over at Elaine.
"Are any of them cute?" Anna asked looking totally serious, but Newt and Elaine couldn't help but laugh.
"I mean.. I guess you'll have to decide that when you meet them," Newt said as he laughed.
Newt looked over to Elaine who was sitting next to him and grabbed her hand to hold it.
He smiled at Elaine and she couldn't help but smile back.
"So are you guys like official or...?" Anna abruptly asked
