Anna followed the map to the destination that they we're headed to, her hands gripping the wheel firmly. And her eyes fixed impatiently on the road. She was nervous that the rebels would find them once the beacon on the tracker goes off.

Elaine saw how tense Anna was, and placed a hand on her shoulder.

As they stopped at a closed metal gate Anna took her hands off the wheel and looked at Elaine as she stopped the truck.
"Now what?" Anna asked
Elaine sat and thought for a moment, then she got out of the truck along with Newt and Anna, and examined the lock on the gate. A classic pin lock with chains.

"Get me a bolt cutter" Elaine said, Anna then jogged back to the truck and opened the tailgate and luckily there were a pair of bolt cutters.
"How ironic" She mumbled.

She handed Elaine the bolt cutters, and then hopped back into the truck followed by Newt. After Elaine snipped the chains, the gate swung open with a creak. And then Elaine got back into the truck, and the drove along the dirt road up to large junk yard shack.

"This is it" Elaine said, and she got out of the truck with Newt, and Anna.
"Let me do the talking" Elaine suggested.
"Fine by me" Anna said lazily as they inched forward towards the shack.

Elaine knocked one the medal door and waited, but heard nothing. She knocked again this time a bit louder.

"Jess!" She hollered "Jess, it's me Elaine" Elaine said again, and waited. Then the door creaked open slightly.
"Looks like it's not just you" Jess said in a quiet voice.

Elaine rolled her eye momentarily, "Jess, I need your help" Elaine said crossing her arms.
Jess looked at the young girl, "fine" she opened the door more to let the three you teens in. Then shut the door.

The inside looked nothing like the outside, instead of rusty worn down walls, they were a sleek grey, with concrete floors, eucalyptus plants sat near the foggy windows, and rustic looking furniture were placed around the room. With a high wooden table that sat in the middle of the room, that had took boxes, and medical supplies.

"What do you need this time?" Jess asked crossing her arms as she turned to look down at Elaine. Jess was a tall girl, about 5'8, with dark blue hair, brown eyes, and a full arm and shoulder tattoo of a rose and skull. She also had a tattooed cross on the back of her neck. But with her tall height she was often mistaken to be years older the hair she is; 18.

Elaine took a deep breath and explained everything, Jess's eyes widening a bit as Elaine told her about there escape from the rebels.

"Alright, come on" Jess nodded her head towards the table and sat down on a metal stool, and she started to clean a weird clear tubed gun. Anna hesitantly sat down across from her on another metal stool.

"Now" Jess set the cloth down on the table, and looked at then clock "we have 20 minutes to get that tracker out, bare with me" Jess said.

Quickly she wiped the the side of Anna's neck with an alcohol wipe, and then gently blew on it sending shivers down Anna's spine.

"This may hurt for a few seconds, but it'll be gone as soon as it comes" Jess explained to Anna. Anna nervously nodded.

Then Jess took the clear tubed gun and placed it over Anna's tattooed subject code, there was a faint click before a sharp sting went through Anna's body followed by a cold numbness. Like Jess has said it only lasted a few seconds.
"Done" Jess said as she handed Anna a cloth for her neck.

In the tube was a small balled tracker with a bloodied wire. "Ugh! That's nasty" Elaine said as Jess took it out, and examined it. Then suddenly a loud rhythmic beeping filled the room, then Jess smashed it with her boot.
"The tracker-" Elaine started
"It went off" Anna finished.

The all looked at each other with pure horror, and genuine fear.
"You guys need to get out of here now" Jess said and tossed them a sack of boat equipment.
"Wha-how'd you know we're-" Anna was shocked.
Jess gave them a wink before, taking out a couple guns and placing them at random spots along the front wall. The small peep holes appeared, and Jess hooked the gums up to a large metal power box.
"Go now, you'll make by tomorrow night" Jess said and rushed them out the back door.

After Jess shut the door, the three bolted for the sand dunes, and ran like there lives depended on it, because it did.

And by tomorrow night they'd be at the docs.
The three still pondered at how Jess knew that they were taking a boat. But Elaine knew that Jess has always been one to know things that you'd never expect her to know.

As the three came to a jog, Anna pulled out the map, and stretched her arms out in front of her to let Newt and Elaine see.

"Looks like there's a river about 7 miles ahead, we'll see how far we can get" Elaine said.

Newt and Anna nodded and they continued at a common pace, walking in the blazing sun.
