Belle's POV

"Caleb!" I yelled, ignoring the fact that his in a phone call.

Monday afternoon saw Arden march himself and my suitcase up the stairs to my room. I desperately dashed ahead, keen to see my brother who (yes, I wasn't afraid to admit) I had missed.

I tackled him to the sofa and found I was met with strong arms pulling me into a hug;

"Christ, it's just been two days!" chuckled Arden, when he got back down. Looking at me tackling Caleb.

"Arden! How did it go? Am I looking at the new General Manager?" Caleb said teasing, lifting himself up from the sofa and out from my hug. Picked up his phone and end his call.

"No," replied Arden, stunning him into silence for a moment.

"Oh?"

"Punching my boss, no the ex assistant General manager in the face kinda put a damper on the whole thing," he smiled, though I knew deep down he was still mildly simmering.

"What the hell? You punched him? Why?" He utter in terror; voice rising in octave.

Arden's eyes briefly met mine in a desperate plea and deciding to help him out a little, I began the long winded explanation and hoped that in doing so, his reaction was somewhat limited.

"He cornered me in the bathroom and said if I gave him a blowjob, he'd give Arden the promotion," I stated, feeling suddenly sick.

Caleb quickly snapped his head in my direction, his angry eyes and look of utter disgust matching that of Arden's.

"He did what?" Caleb voice raise, too shocked for his own good. "Did he touch you? Are you okay?"

"No, no, I got away. I'm just shaken. I told Arden as soon as I could and he punch him. We had to do a runner though," I laughed, throwing humour at the situation.

Caleb looking dim. My brother took his phone out again and dialed a number. He excused himself to us and went to the study room. I don't wanna think the worst but being Caleb is my brother and I know his one of the people whose very protective of me. I just wish Tad Hamilton will not get black listed to all the hotels.

He came back in two minutes. That was fast. And his back to his jokes.

"Where were we?" He ask. I just looked at him confused. And questioning him on who he is with the phone. He just ignored me and said. "I leave you both for one weekend and look what happens? Anything else of the scandalous sort take place while you were away?" He jokingly asked, much to mine and Arden's convenience.

"Well, actually..."

Arden's anxious eyes met mine in a silent bid to join him, his excitement on the matter proving as much my undoing as the next. It was truly amazing how nothing seemed to faze him and even more so how he wanted to shout about our news as if it were a life-altering discovery. Sure, I suppose us finally admitting our feelings was somewhat life-altering for us, but with the way he was going on, anyone would think he had the answer to NCovid-19.

"Belle and I have something we'd like to tell you," he explained, flinging a careless arm around my shoulder; something which wasn't so out of the ordinary.

"We're sort of together," I added, unable to hide the smile.

"Like a couple," concluded Arden, leaving it at that.

Caleb glared at us for a moment, no doubt to register our words. He then rather sceptically narrowed his eyes, as if trying to work something out, but couldn't quite manage it without speaking up.
