"Hey, Jason!" He turned around to see Wally walk up to him. "I messed up. Dick left. We have to find him."
Jason looked confused, "What?"
Wally looked nervous, "I um... I broke up with Dick. I just couldn't be with him. I love him, you know that but, its just knowing that this is all a lie..."
Jason got angry, "You were suppose to protect him! You were suppose to make him happy! And what? You just decide to break the heart of the man I love and hurt him??!" Fuck. I didn't mean to say that. "I mean I love him as a brother," Jason tried to fix what he said, but Wally caught on.
"Oh my god. He's your boyfriend."
"Was. He was my boyfriend." Jason corrected him.
"Jay, I'm so sorry. Why didn't you tell me sooner? I would've-"
"What? Wally, you were perfect. He needed you and not me."
"You don't know that for sure. But he needs you now. He's spiraling. I'm afraid he's going to do something stupid. Please, you have to find him."
"No. It should be you, he loves-"
"Jason Todd. You are going to get back the man you love." Wally said as he was practically shoving Jason out the door.
All the Batfamily members have trackers in them so Bruce could find them easily. What Bruce didn't know was that Jason had Tim install the same program to his phone. But, Jason didn't know if he did the same in this timeline. Jason got into his car and turned on his phone. Yes, its here.
He found that Dick was at Gotham Hotel, the same hotel that they first hooked up. He drove there but he knew that the receptionist wouldn't just give him Dick's room. So he wore his Flamebird mask. The receptionist knew he was a well respected hero and gave the room number. I guess I don't have to be threatening to get answers now.
Floor 12, Room 23. The same exact fucking room we met up. That's gotta be a coincidence right?
Jason got into the elevator and took off his mask. He knocked on the door but there was no answer. He could hear noises from inside but he couldn't make out what. "Dick, its me, Jason." There was no answer. He tried to open the door but it was locked. Instead of waiting, he kicked the door down.
