No. Don't go. Please I need someone. I'm sorry I couldn't tell you I got the scars from when I was beaten to death. Jason didn't even realize that he was in tears until Wally walked in. He wiped away all his tears. Don't make this awkward since he's technically dating your boyfriend.
"Hey, how you holding up?"
"I've been better," Jason laughed.
"So I might've heard the conversation between you and Dick," he said, "I don't know how to put this nicely but I think the timeline is messed up."
"What?"
"I have this connection to the Speed Force and I could feel that there's something wrong. You've been getting flashes of memories of this time right? You've been acting weird lately, like you don't belong here."
That makes sense. "You're right. In my timeline, I never became Flamebird. I never became part of the Titans, because I was an Outlaw. I died and came back to life. I started killing people, Wal." Jason was in tears. "My life is so much better now."
"I'm not exactly sure why you retained your memory of the old timeline. I can remember bits and pieces from your timeline since I'm a speedster. But the thing is I can't remember anything past the date, June 20th, 2016."
Jason started to cry. "What?" Wally asked.
"Wal, that's the day you... died," Jason managed to say.
Wally didn't know how to react, "Oh. Well anyway, you have to change the timeline back. I'm not connected to the Speed Force that well, so your best bet is to find the Flash and-"
"Wally! Didn't you hear what I said? You and Roy both die! Why would I want to change the timeline?"
"Jay, you can't be serious. You're basically living a lie. And keeping the timeline different for a long time, will have unpredicted effects and-"
"I don't want to fix it! Here, I never died so I didn't screw up anyone's life, you're alive, Roy's alive and I'm part of a team that saves the world," Jason replied.
"Okay think about what you're missing here that you had in the other timeline. There must be something," Wally said.
Dick. I'm missing Dick Grayson, my soulmate. At least I thought he was.
"Um yeah, my boyfriend."
"Well, don't you want to fight to get him back?"
"I know he's happy in this timeline. He's with someone who cares for him like I never could."
"So that's it, Jay? You're just going to assume he's happy without you? If I lost Dick, I would fight for him,"
Well fuck, I can't exactly say my boyfriend is your boyfriend.
"He's better off in this timeline without me. I screwed up his life," Jason said.
"How could you say that? I'm sure you both loved each other a lot. Which is why you need to fix the timeline or else things will end up worse."
