Amnesia {bts ff}

Chapter 37;

"I see Noah's face as soon as I close my eyes...." I sighed. "That's because you're worried about Jane and because you don't know what's going on at that party." Taehyung said. "Everything would be better if she just sent a text." I said. "Everything will be fine, you have to think good thoughts." Taehyung said.

You know sometimes I find him annoying when he's calm in tough situations. I need his strenght to get through this night. I got a text from Jane half an hour later. I jumped from the couch to get to the phone and almost knocked everything on the coffeetable down. 

"Is that Jane? Ask her if you can call her." Taehyung sai looking at me. "Jane sent me a blurry photo... It was probably by mistake." I said. "Zoom in, maybe you can still see somthing in it." Taehyung suggested. "I think she tried to take a photo of Noah, but somebody stopped her at the moment." I said looking at the photo. "It looks like someone's hand is blocking her view." Taehyung said. "Yes! You're right! Someone took her phone away! Or at least they tried to do that..." I said getting more worried now. "Probably. How can we contact her now?" Taehyung asked. "There's no way to do that if they took her phone." I said. "I'll try to call her, just in case." Taehyung said and he tried to call her. 

The phone was ringing, but Jane wasn't answering. "You see..." I said worried. "Maybe the music is too loud and she can't hear the phone." Taehyung said. I turned the tv on and saw the news. There was a short story about the charity dinner organized by vision and they showed a video of a hall full of people. I recognized Jane! 

"Look it's Jane!" I said. "Who's that man standing next to her?" Taehyung asked. "Someone working in the security?! Oh no! He grabbed her hand!" I yelled. They cut the video at that moment and moved on to the more important news. "They might have thrown her out! I can oly imagine how she feels now..." Taehyung said. "We have to go get her! I can't sit here doing nothing anymore." I said nervous.

He didn't even try to talk me out of the idea to return to the city. We got burned to many times to ignore my intuition now. "Who will take care of Yoongi? I don't wanna leave him alone, he'll be sad 'cause you left." Taehyung said. "I love the gentle side of you. You care for my pet. We have t ask Jungkook to take care of Yoongi for a while."  I said. "He won't say no. He loves the dog." Taehyung said. "Yoongi, come her, boy!" I yelled and he came imediately.

Jane had already become skillful at sneaking around. She noticed the security workers were moving along predefined routs. That was how she succesfully came to the other side of the room without being seen. Noah and Jin were there hiding in the shadows. Jane stood behind a curtain and eavesdropped on them. They can't see me here. They are preoccupied with each other anyway. 

"You were amazing, darling. Plus, you look beautiful!" Jin said. "You flatter me! Stop it." Noah said and she blushed. "I really mean it, Noah. I've never met a woman like you. You're strong, confident and you know what you want from life. Your beauty is just a bonus which completes you." Jin said. "You definitely bought me with me those words. I don't open up my heart that easily, but I have to admit something, Jin. You got under my skin." Noah said. 

Noah came one step closer to Jin and put her hands on his shoulders. He pulled her closer and kissed her in a way that destroyed all the walls she'd been builing for years. In his presence, Noah was acting like a little kitten. Y/n won't believe me what I've just witnessed! 

"Noah, It's only now that I can see your other side which you've been hiding from me. You tortured me!" Jin said. "I had to see how loyal you were to me." Noah said. "I expect nothing less from you. Everything I've done was for your own good. I wanted to create a carefree future for us. But you rejected me in the beginning." Jin said hurt. "Jin, my darling, the time wasn't right. Soon, unless you've changed your mind..." Noah said. Oh, my god! Jin and Noah are planning their future together! I have to find a proof against her 'cause if they get married he'll have the right to her property. 

Jin and Noah jumped to a loud bang which was coming from the other end of the room. Something happened and the security workers went out of their office and ran toward that sound. That was how Jane noticed the surveillance room. They left the door open! This is my chance! 

She ran inside and saw he surveilance monitors. Her phone was on the desk along with other items taken by security. Let's see... What should I do? She turned off serveral cameras which secured the side entrance and Noah's office. I see that there is a side entrance into the building. That's the way I could use to sneak out of here. 

She heard the security approaching the surveillance room. At the last second, she grabber her phone and ran towards the side entrance. At that moment I called.

"Y/n! I'm just leaving I've just wanted to call you." She said when she picked up. "Jane, I was so worried about you!" I said through the phone. "Don't worry, everything is fine. I don't have much time. Listen... Noah has a lover! It's the journalist! I couldn't send you a video of them together 'cause the security took my phone."  Jane said. "I should've known she'd had an accomplice the whole time. What are we gonna do now?" I asked her. 

Jane told me the surceillance cameras were turned off and that I could sneak into Noah's office without being noticed. "It's great you thought of that! Stay there and keep an eye on Noah. I'll take care of the rest." I said. "deal, Y/n!" Jane said.
