Chapter 6 Ready for Action

It has been a week since Surak first met Yassain, so far he has earned his trust, Surak's mission was yo infiltrate their organization and begin work in figuring out what his plan is if he has one. So far Surak hasn't heard nor seen any misconduct on their grounds. Surak was getting better each day. His scars has faded into his fur, his ribs has mended itself and his broken paw magically mixed itself in a week, no thanks to the Kion. Kimala has been training Surak, he had to go along with this but knew how to fight. Surak liked Kimala, she was friendly, kind, gentle and pretty. She didn't belong here at all. She seems happy but deep down maybe she knew that she should leave but for now Surak was focused on Yassain and his pride. On walks Yassain told many stories about his past. The fact he was nearly killed by Askari's son Yoboa Queen Janna's King. But was killed by a natural cause. Yassain has since been planing out his revenge of Scar and his near death but also to make it far amongst other lions and animals who seek revenge but turned down. Surak listened and agreed on all of them, making his voice sincere and tough. Surak told the lie of him wanting to destroy the Pride Lands and Yassain said a that WE could rule both. Feeling a little scared deep down Surak probably gave Yassain another disaster. " go now, Kumar still needs to make sure your one hundred percent, tomorrow we will make our first move","and what will that be?", " our spies has over heard of a meeting at the Tree Of Life. We are going to attack", In Surak's eyes you could see terror. His heart pounding Surak needed to warn Kion.

Kion and Rani was ready for anything but wasn't going to expect one so soon. Kion was on patrol with the Day Pride, again separating into two teams, Kion, Fuli and Anga patrolled the Borders while Besthe, Bunga and Azaad patrolled the inner lands. Helping out was the Night Pride, they were on the look out of any suspicious activity in lands. Spies were the number one priority, look Sharpe and stay strong, focus and resilient. All of the animals of the Tree Of Life was calm and collective but questions was raised about why is their so many shifts, patrols and measures. Kion assured them that everything was safe, but some were being nosy and now some rumors that a new threat was rising. Ono was on look out was Surak, stocking high and out of sight. Ono spotted Surak many times with Yassain, chatting and probably planning. Surak's check in was due today and hoped he only had good news.

Surak made his way down the curved path that was surrounded by trees, the autumn leaves were falling off every thirty seconds. The sun was setting down below the horizon and the sky was a perfect combination of red, orange and blue, the clouds were thick and colourful, reflecting of the smooth clear waters that lay in a near by lake. This was his last training session before he was supposed to attack his own home, his family and friends, wondering if he should back down, run away or to leave? No. He needed to keep going, he hasn't finished his task at all and needed more time, as long as Kion and Rani know then he'll be fine. Surak just remembered he needed to cheek in today. 'Maybe tonight, after dinner when we get a break, free time", Surak walked pasted some lions who was coming back from direction of his mother land, trying not to make eye contact Surak quickened up his pace. Luckily they were heading in the opposite direction, towards the lake for a drink. Back with Kimala Surak continued his training, learning new things like how to tail swing and then claw the hell out of their face. Hoping he could use his new skills for good, not evil. Surak was given body rehabilitation, to fully heal. His session was pretty quick today but only because they had a meeting at five. " your doing well Sukarno", " why thank you, I guess I have a great trainer", They shared a smile as they panted, out of breath, " want to get a drink before we head for our meeting?" Kimala nodded and both lions made their way towards the lake.

The meeting started in five minutes, making it early Kimala and Surak joined the many other lions and animals who were waiting to hear what Yassian's plan was. Surak was trying to hide the fact he was worried about tomorrow but took a deep breath and prayed for something good about it all.
The time as come and all of five hundred animals gathered as one to hear what the plan was for tomorrow. Yassain walked up on a small ledge, his voice bellowed around the lands as he voiced out what he hoped would be successful. " Tomorrow is a good day for us, we waited many years for this opportunity, we will not fail but succeed, my plan is to crack a dawn, while their too tired. We will have four clans, each clan will attack each quarter of the land, terrify the animals and let them know were here. So that will be, Nakuma Team get ready, you'll take on the west, Matimu clan will attack the south, your use to the cool weather. The Takiti's will attack the North while the Lamada Team will be east". These clans are formed as forces to patrol the lands and hunt. Like the Day and Night Pride all take shifts," as your doing so they'll come for you so while doing that me, Sukarno and Janku will take the vulnerable and the week. " HORA", The crowd goes wild as Yassian's made the pledge for a better home, fairness and equality. Surak watched on as he sees the eyes of Yassain, a like green turns dark real quick when mixed in dark colours, they were dismissed as chatter of evil was spoken, that was their only language, nothing nice came out if their mouth, even when talking to each other. Surak needed to speak with Kion as soon as he gets the chance. He looks up hoping to see Ono but no bird in the sky. He must if taken his break. Surak made his way down to his place. A small cave was built there for him, close to his friend Kimala and Yassain. It was good and bad, good for listening in on his plans and discussions, but also bad because he had to be quite if he ever water to leave late at night.

The Patrol ended and they headed back to the Tree for a debrief, again, same as usual, no sign of anything. A few lurked buy fled once Kion had a line of sight. Ono came down and gave the report," no sign of danger, Surak is safe and should be at the Mojo Kwa Jo stone soon", Kion thanked him as he and the others were dismissed for dinner. Rani walker up to Kion and gave him a hug, wondering what was for dinner. " maybe a zebra?", " ooh, don't mind If I do", Kion walked around the corner and dragged a dead zebra inside the tree. They feasted on the meat they talked about life and how it'll turn out but also about Surak. Being cousin to Rani, Kion was going to be their for her and wouldn't out anyone in danger, Kion promised he'll pull him out if things get out of hand.

Finishing up both Kion, Rani and Surak was heading down to their meeting area. Anga and Ono was on over watch, The Night Pride was around to make sure nothing bad happens.
Surak walked down the trail, it was dark and cold. He went over what Yassain said earlier today and played it again and again.
Kion and Rani made their way towards the rock, hoping he had good news.
The royals made it first and waited for Surak to arrive. It was some time before the Undercover lion showed up. " hay guys, Surak made his rounds, hugging each one", " how is it", Surak explained the good part first, he made a new friend called Kimala, "she helped me get back on my paws", Rani smiled and knew it'll be more. " there is bad news though", the moment they were dreading, they made sure it was safe and sound. " Yassain is planning on to attack us tomorrow at sun up", Kion took in note and shared a glance at Rani, Surak explained the plan. Five teams, four attacking each quarter of the lands. Kion was shocked and needed to warn everyone, " what do I do", Surak's voice sounded worried, " stick to your cover, fight with them but don't go to hard, sound tough and mean, attack Baliyo first, he'll pretend to go down and stay there, if all goes well we'll win and they back off", Surak understood and took in the plan. But asked about if they wonder how they knew, Rani said that they won't know, we'll pretend to be week and strike. The plan was set and they headed off back home. The Day and Night Pride met up as well as Azaad. They were sent to the four corners, Besthe, Bunga and Nirmala to the south, Ono, Azaad and Fuli to the East, they have to make do for now, Kion, Rani and Baliyo will protect the Tree.
