Chapter 22 Future Looks Good

Spreading all over the border the Tree Of Life sneakily roamed the land, hoping no one sees them, the birds flew high above the tree tops as the archery team get ready for an invasion this save Kion, Vitani and Surak. Sticks on their strings their partner held thick pieces of wood that was set alight, the fire illuminated the day. It was daytime but it was still seen from the Force Of Fire. Flickering all around, from left to right all about to be descended into hell. Rani walking across the western front, making sure that everyone was ready, in doing so again wisdom and advice spoke, it was so heart warming that it sounded like Queen Janna, that's exactly who was speaking. Speaking for Rani to the troops, everyone looked sincere, a face that shown no fear and intent to bring down Yassain." Get ready, on my call we attack, firstly the fire, barrier and hell then once the fire touches the ground then we go in. The raging fire will protect us for only a little while so all beware to what's to come, our only mission is to rescue our king, leader and warrior. Don't let your guard down.

Inside the source, Kion trails Yassain who looked panic, his mane swaying with the wind. Following close but not too close they lead to where Surak's held, four lions wait outside. Hiding in the shadows and behind a rock, Kion can hear the brutal beatings of Surak, once again going through hell. He needed to do something, to help his fellow family, he can't let him die this time, quickly thinking of a plan Kion looks around and sees a boulder that's wedge in between a mountain and the ground. Hr had a plan, he steadied himself on the ground and relaxed, he blew a wind, no one heard it nor seen it, they were to busy with the Tree Of Life outside, Kion tried wedging it out, lifting it and pulling it out, Kion lifted it high above the ground and moved it away from the cave, he stopped blowing and the rock fell, smashing into several pieces around the corner it alerted the guards and Yassain, one by one they rush out to see the commotion, acting swiftly Kion moved into the dungeon which laid a helpless lion. Surak wasn't able to stand at all, Surak saw Kion and a sigh of relief came from his mouth, Kion couldn't lift him, ' wait, I can roar him out of here', Kion tried to get Surak up but Surak struggled very hard, " stay down, it's okey, I'm gonna blow you out", Surak's eyes opened wider as the first thought came from when Kion firstly roared him out. " it's okey, it's gonna be the wind, not the roar", Surak tensed as Kion steadied. He blew a gust of win around Surak which picked him up, a scared lion in a fierce tornado, what can go wrong? He carried Surak out of the cave and used the roar to blow him carefully over the ridges and outside the cave, everyone stopped to see a lion floating in the mid sky, Rani stopped preparing to see Surak being hauled to safety. Rani rushed over to Surak, Nirmala saw the drama and also rushed over, checking his wounds she examined broken bones, bruises and open wounds, utilities rushed over and picked him up, they took him to the village for healing, it wasn't going to be like the Tree Of Life but it'll have to do for now. Getting back into the action Rani ordered the troops, she knew Kion was still inside, Vitani and Makini was still in danger but they knew that they know about the plan, hopefully they saw then and knows what to do. Archers up and fire ready to be set alight. Rani looked ahead, further then the Force Of Fire, she looked into the horizon, the future of her pride, she hoped that what they were about to do was for the greater good, to finally seal the deal and finally have peace restored. Rani smiled to herself and saw the future looks good.

One down two more to go, Kion saw Yassain rushing back, he ran out and hid behind the rock, hearing Yassain getting mad made Kion smile, the roars and triumph that one lion made, he took out his anger on the closet animal there, killed him, the others stood tense, hope he stopped there and then, he kept killing, the four guards laid in the dungeon. Kion shock his head, ' you say you wanna say save these animals, killing them is not the way to do it', Kion walked away to find the rest, he went upwards again onto the mountain, he sat at the ridge and sought to find Vitani and Makini. He looked up, seeing the pinky red sky, evening came, the sky signified hell and to Kion it represented what was going to happen in the next twenty four hours. He too reflected, the past, what he had done, have done, if he died he'll be remembered as a hero, a family, friend and warrior, he'll be remembered as a king. If he lives he looks into the future, and like Rani saw it was good. He looked outside the border and saw the troops, lined up ready to attack. He knew that every lion he saw there was his pride. Family and friends. He saw Rani, standing and waiting.

Rani was looking for a moment, still reflecting she looks up into the sky, she spots a figure on top of the rock, she thought it was Yassain for a second but soon realized it was her king, sitting down, they locked eyes and as if they were talking face to face they knew what to say. Looking down onto his queen Kion smiles. ' if this is the end, i'm glad I still have you', Kion stood up and tensed, his muscles held together and he relaxes, he looks up into the heavens and closes his eyes, a hot fire rose from his stomach, through the body's organs and up above his mouth, Kion took in a deep breath and roared, signalling the attack, a brutal fight that'll decide the fate of the African Lands. Everyone heard the powerful roar from the King of the Tree Of Life, everyone but the Force Of Fire knew what is happening, already the fire flew high, lions ran in and hell broke loose.
