Chapter 8 Recovery and Recruiting

More than a hundred animals has died in the civil war between the good and evil. Temporarily stopping Yassain in his steps so Kion and Rani can rest, take it in and maybe see the future of what is going to happen, help is needed as Surak mentioned that Yassain is building a massive army, bigger then both Pride Lands and Tree Of Life Combined. Meeting with King Kikau the leader of PPO, his wise decision lead to the deaths of five lions who turned down the law of the circle of life, only three were spared, seeing deep into their hearts they didn't want to die young, only eighteen and seventeen, the three lions promised to now respect it and become more less then evil,
"there is no need to fight, join us and we'll give you more then what Yassain gives you", pressuring then, they saw the true identity of the leaders of the Tree Of Life. Youboa, Kaiser and Takina joined the Tree Of Life and accepted their fate,  but still on high alert Kion asked Anga and Baliyo to keep an eye on them. They settled down in a near by den next to the Day Pride's lair. The Mandrills and Volunteers from the valley gathered up the dead animals either fighting or caught in the cross fire, either way they didn't deserve to die, many mum, dads and family members didn't return home for lunch yesterday. A big ceremony was held to remember them. Family, Friend, fighter, bystander and Loyal, some animals were so sad about their losses they took it out on Kion and Rani, saying it was their fault. feeling bad they tried calming them and comforting them. Tears dropped and wimps cried out, the valley was together as one, used to this Kion knew he had to end it all before the conflict goes way out of hand.

Frustrated as hell, mad and sore Yassain threw a massive tantrum, mad about his plan not succeeding, clawing his cave and breaking everything inside. Yassain's heart was pounding out if his chest, upset is all he said he was. " How, how on earth did they know?" Surak was getting unease, hoping his cover wasn't blown he kept quite. " there is now way... spies..., we have spies", Right then and there Surak had blood pumping around his body at three hundred miles per hour, his heart was out of chest. Ready to fight and run Surak tensed up his muscles, " Sukarno!", Surak's heart has now stopped, waiting for him to be killed then and there, instead Yassain ordered Surak to gather everyone at the ledge for a meeting. Inside Surak body he was relieved and calmed down. He took off without a word, finding all the animals that wasn't injured or killed. He ran past a few animals who we're injured, limping back home.  Kimala appeared and asked for some help," sorry, wish so but Yassain asked me to gather everyone for a meeting", Kimala sighed and carried on as Surak went to den to cave, tree to bush to lake to gather everyone for what Yassain had to say.

Kion and Rani chatted after the ceremony, " I know he won't stop, he has that ability, like Scar he wouldn't stop till his mission is finished. We may need help, Surak said he is building a bigger army behind the scenes and we may need more then our pride", Kion's voice sounded worried and harsh," so what are you saying, were going into war and we need our alliances to fight with us?", " yes, I'll speak to Askari and my grandfather, we may need more then Kikau's kingdom, plus my dad wouldn't say no to another war. Not with me in it", Rani was also worried now, " If he wants conflict, bring it on", Kion walked off to speak with the two elders.
" Grandfather Mufasa? Askari?"
"We're here Kion, what is on your mind"
"We had a civil war yesterday, Yassain attacked and we won but many were injured and died because of Yassain. We captured three lions who were on Yassain's side and they agreed to join our side, I don't know if he wants war or if he is just pushing our buttons and I don't know if we need help or not"
" Kion, we always need help, a war isn't won by yourself, we need help in the toughest times, if Yassain wants war then think about help but first try negotiations, try and stop it",
" But he is building a massive army Surak says it's bigger then both mine and the Pride Lands"
Thinking about it Askari tries to calm Kion, telling him that fighting and violence isn't always the answer.
"Askari is correct, Kion being King means that you have to also make good decision's that wouldn't jeopardized your home, friends, family and civilization, trust your instincts and remember we're here for you, till the pride lands and tree of life ends"
" thanks guys, I'll see if it continues, but what if war does occur, he wants a perfect world, he thinks animals are suffering and not accepted he wants to carry on Scar's task?"
" then, see about that then, for now, recover, regenerate and recruit if you need, I'll speak to Simba today if you want",
" I was going to send Makini and Anga over but if you feel it's right then sure, just don't let him worry about me please"
" Kion, he has the right to worry, he is your father and also the king. It's good when he worries, it makes you feel safe, makes him feel safe knowing that both of you are safe",
"okey, thank you Grandfather Mufasa and Askari, love you".
The elders rolled over with the evening clouds, the sun started to set over the valley as both prides recover, it wasn't a big fight at all but the impact infected everyone, mentally and physically. Rani and Kion went around the valley forgiving and checking in on those who needed it most. " we are one, we stand and fight like one, we will get through this alive, stronger. with strength and resilience we will win this conflict, be prepared",

The meeting started as Yassain spike his fierce word, wondering if there is a leak or not. He knew it couldn't be Surak but wasn't sure. I mean he was nearly dead and his back ground was clear and clean, he was just mad and confused, " our fight yesterday wasn't our fault, they had the upper hand for this time, a slip up. But we must stay strong and resilient. I have a new plan, we capture on of their leaders, or guard members and we torture them, seeing how they respond will tell us how we are going to over take the Tree. Maybe the king or queen. Kill then and chaos erupts, a sinister plan that shows no mercy, the last queen tried killing me for nothing", the plan was set, he was brain washing all of them, Yassain was the real enemy, trying to take it for evil, he didn't care about pleasing, care, kind, loving or freedom, just wants revenge and one day have the power to bring back the dead.
