Chapter 23 Failing And Succeeding

The night sky fell as the fire rose above the trees, catching on fire illuminating the cool night, hell came from below, the battle cry rang out all over the lands. This was the end, the end for one and only side, the fight between good and evil, to keep the circle of life in balance. Leading the troops was Rani, racing through the flames that flickers at her body, asking for a touch of her fur. Cries echoed the land as all brave lions fell to their knees, the hyena resistance objective was to clear and help, the Night and Day pride was to protect the queen and kings that fought in the battle, each team took on any enemy that was a threat, the firing squad ran in after firing their flames, with spears and tribal calls they too ran into battle. The eyes in the sky kept the Tree Of Life ahead, yelling out who is running in, all of the Force Of Fire was unleased onto the Tree Of Life, like the scene from Nania everyone was occupied with someone or something, animals burning here and there as the fire spread from tree to tree. The snow melted and the earth's soil was caught alight. Rani had a job to find Yassain and along side with Kion to kill Yassain. Luckily for her she had an opening, with the PPO agents  beside her she ran trough the fire front, looking for any option to defeat an evil. Kion ran down from the hill and met up, no time to hug or kiss each other they searched for Vitani and Makini, they were the first priority, Yassain is still lurking in the shadows, always was, but now it was time for him to come out and into the light, no more hiding, they found Makini in the dungeon she was before, she was beaten and looked like she was sexually assaulted, she was alive and was shaking in the corner, tied to the wall the first thing she did when she saw Kion and Rani was pulling, she wanted out and she couldn't be more upset, Kion left it to Rani, running over she untied the ropes and embraced her, tears of joy and horror followed, " we need to keep moving, do you know where Vitani is?", Makini still crying didn't know where she was, they hugged it out and left the room. She called for Anga who swooped down and carried her to safety. Kion and Rani continued their journey towards where they think Vitani might be held. They didn't need their skill to see in the blackness, the light from the flames lighted the way towards Vitani, they guessed right, smelling her scent they came across Yassian's base, carefully walking inside they read the room, this was the room that Surak recovered in and on one side laid a lion, it wasn't Vitani, the lion was taking care of an injured animal, Kion sneaked by and tackled her to the ground and Rani took care of the injured lion. The lion was trying to get out but Kion's claws dug into her shoulders, " where is Vitani?", the lion looked scared and worried, " please, don't hurt me I am only a nurse, she is down there with Yassain", Kion turned his to see a crack in the back wall, it was bug enough to fit two lions, it was dark and small, thinking Kion asked asked about her, " who are you"," my name is Kimala, I'm the nurse here, I heard about Surak's death and ever since I wanna get out, I liked Surak, I healed him when he was here and I guess we found a bond, please forgive me I see what Yassain is doing, he is getting too violent and rough I've trusted him for too long", Kion saw that Kimala meant no harm and asked her to help them, Kimala got up and headed down the cave, " just distract him for some time so we can get Vitani out, then when she is safe we will end the war", Understanding what to do Kimala headed underground to where Yassain was trying to get the roar out of her.

Down below Yassain was desperately trying to get the roar out of Vitani, " I CAN'T GIVE YOU THE ROAR, IT CAN ONLY CHOOSE YOU, THE ELDERS CHOOSE YOU, I CAN'T GIVE YOU IT", " so the elders choose you and Kion?", " yes, but Kion choose me, he gave it to me", Smiling to himself Yassain knew now what and how to get the power he wants. Vitani laid there, beaten and sore, Yassain made his way up, " Kimala, what is it?", " Oh I just came to say that Farshi couldn't be saved, so sorry", " it doesn't matter now, I gotta go fight, keep an eye out of this girl", Kimala looked over his shoulder and saw Vitani, she was lying on the ground, she was crying and sore, but it seems she was fine to walk, maybe even fight," will do", Yassain walked off in the other direction as Kimala said to be safe, Yassain took note and stored it in a place known as IDGAF( I don't give a F**k) Kimala rushed over to Vitani who wasn't scared, she was ready to attack but was eased when she saw Kion and Rani behind her." It's okey, Kimala is here to help, how are you", Vitani strongly got up from her hunches and stood, she stretched and it did hurt a little but she was a strong heroine.
"now why don't we go finish what Yassain started?", they nodded and up they went, following Yassian's scent. It lead them to the battle front, fire spread as the scene of dead corpse laid all over the place, it was sixty percent of the Force Of Fire defeated and the other half was still working their way towards the back side of the land. Yassain was mad, he wanted the roar and to defeat the good. But he needed to find Kion, he didn't know where he was, ' he could be dead, or alive, either way I need to hurry up', Battling his way through the flames and lions he looked for the fierce lion he knew deep down that that lion is the one to defeat him. Not going to let it happen Yassain made his way to the center of attention. A loud roar bellowed the lands as Kion's roar echoed the lands, Yassain smiled, everyone was too busy to hear the roar, it was Kion vs Yassain, looking dead in the eyes of each other no one was smiling, this was the end, Kion had a great plan, " IF YOU WANT THE ROAR OF THE ELDERS, THE POWER?", Kion lowered his head, ready to pounce her gritted his teeth together, the ambers fell all around and their faces light up, " COME AND GET IT".
