Hailies POV

"Alright Hailie, I'm just going to need you to look straight at my finger over here when I use this hit your knee ok? It won't hurt at all, I just need to test your reflex." The doctor said.

I nodded and kept my eyes focused on the finger he had held up around 5 inches away from my face.

I fell it hit my knee, and my leg jerks up a little bit.

I saw Mason stiffen, but I ignored it.

He did the same for my other knee, and for my elbows.

Then we had moved onto the next test.

This time, the nurse did the test for me, luckily it was the nice brunette.

"Alrighty Hailie. I need you to open your mouth wide and stick out your tongue. I'm going to put the on your tongue and shine the light so I can check your throat ok?" She asks nicely.

"Ok" I respond quietly.

I do as she says and opened my mouth. I felt the cold medal of the tool on my tongue and the slight heat the light gave off in my mouth. After a few seconds, she pull it away from my mouth and writes something on a piece of paper.

Now it was time for the last test, the test I really didn't want to do.

The doctor and two nurses came in for the test. Mason moved his chair closer to me, and gave me his hand to squeeze.

Thank god. If he didn't do that I probably would have died.

The brunette, who I found out was nurse Sofie, clean off a part of my arm, and put a rubber band a few inches above my vein. I knew it was for the circulation.

I close my eyes as they inject the needle and the blood starts to fill the tube. I start to feel light headed and I squeeze Masons' hand so hard I thought it would fall of. Tears were sitting at the corners of my eyes waiting to fall.

After 5 long minutes they finally told me I was done. By then, multiple tears had come down my face, and Mason's hand was pale. They gave my water to drink and I saw Mason in the corner of my eyes looking at me weirdly.

All the nurses and doctors left, and it was just me and Mason in the room.

"Your crying?" He asks me. No. It was a statement.

I nodded.

"Hailie, how did you manage to digest poison?" Mason asks with serious curiosity in his voice.

"I-I don't know.. it was an accident. I just.. drank it?" The last part came out as a question.

"You what?"

Hey everyone! This chapter was SUPER short, but that's because I'm already working on the next chapter. This one was just an introduction to her brothers finding out. The next one will have much more detail and fun events. Also! Go checkout my new book. I post new chapter a lot more for that book since I'm just starting it, so it would mean a lot if you guys voted and read it. Love you all!
