Hailies POV

I was furious to say the least. For the past few hours I've been doing as much research as I could about school. I've been to school before, but it was almost two years ago. It's like I forgot what school was like.

I've secretly ordered stuff online, and when Alex asked me about it, I just said that I spilled some paint on my old ones and needed new ones. Convincing him about the backpack was hard though.

I told him that I read online that backpacks can help you be more organized, and help with homeschooling. He believed me, and I got away with the lie.

It's very hard to lie to my brothers. Their eyes make you want to tell them everything. The hazel turns to brown when they know your lying. Otherwise, they stay the normal bright hazel color that almost sparkles in the light.

I wish my eyes were as nice. Both me and Cole had darker eyes that only turned hazel when in the light. Otherwise they just looked brown.

As Alex said, "Poop brown. But a beautiful poop brown." It made me feel only a little bit better.

Anyways, after a week, I had managed to get all my supplies ready, and even secretly ordered a new outfit which consisted of a white T shirt with an orange butterfly on it, some dark blue jeans with rips (except the rips had cloth under so you couldn't see skin. Cause god forbid I show my legs), and I had paired my old white converse to go with it. Hiding the package was the hardest part.

Well... so I though. The hardest part was enrolling in school. Yes, yes I know what your thinking. "Hailie! Why the fricking frick frack would you enroll in school without your brothers knowing!"

Lemme explain. I would enroll myself in school under Masons name, steal his phone to accept the emails and write an email back saying that I allow myself to go to school, and fill out the rest myself and BOOM! School!

Getting Masons phone was the hard part. He always leaves it in his office, and today he was home all day. While he was in his office, I filled out the entire form except the one with the guardians information. After half an hour of waiting, I heard the shower running in Masons room at the end of the hall. I sprinted down to his office to get his phone.

I knew I had to be quick because Masons takes lighting quick showers. Like 5 minutes. I already knew what I had to write, so I had it memorized. Mason wasn't dumb, and he had a lock on his phone.

It was a 6 number digit code. It could be anything! I had used the 9 out of 10 tries and it had been 2 minutes. I had another 3 minutes to unlock it, send and confirm the email. I had tried my brothers birthdays, random digits and finally, I decided on one more thing:

08-05-03

It worked! His password was my birthday...

August 5, 2003.

I couldn't help but smile... he remembered.

I quickly threw that through out of my mind as I went to his emails and saw the one from my school. I wrote the rehearsed paragraph and sent it. I quickly locked his phone and put it back in the same spot. I ran to my room and closed the door just in time to hear Masons door open and heavy foot steps go downstairs.

Oh god. What have I done.

Hey everyone. This was such a short chapter and you guys waited so long for it, and I feel horrible. I'm having writers block and I don't know what I should write. Also, I've been so busy so I haven't had the most time to write. So sorry guys. :( if you could give me some ideas it would help so much. So sorry. Love you all! ❤️
