Chapter 30
Rachels pov :
I opened the door to see him standing there . He smiled , " hey whats going on ? " I smiled " I found her . " I said " who? " he asked . " my mom. " I said still in shock. " wait , what ? " he asked . I handed him the letter , "it's from my mom . " he started to read it . When he finished he looked up at me , " oh my god rachel she lives in Carmel thats not far from here . " he said to me . " I know maybe we can go and see her . " I suggested. He looked at me and sighed , " rachel I dont know I mean how do we even know she's still there ? " he asked . I smiled , " finn I can feel it in my heart I know this is right I just have to go . " I told him . He sighed , " I just dont want you to get hurt . " he told me . I smiled , " I wont I'm a big girl I can handle myself . " I ansisted. " okay but just promise me you wont get your hopes up. " he asked me . " I wont now come on lets go we have glee . " I told him and we ran out the door .
Finns pov :
We walked into glee club when I saw Mr. Shue . I pulled him aside and said , " hey Mr.shue can we talk? " I asked . He smiled , " sure come into my office . " and we walked into his office . I sat down and said, " Mr. Shue I'm worried about rachel. " i told him " why is everything okay with her ? " he asked " yeah its just she found a letter from her birth mom and now she wants to see her . " I told him . He sighed , " wait I thought she didn't know who her birth mom was. " he said " she didn't but she found a letter from her . " I told him " what would you like me to do? " he asked " I want you to try and talk her out of it . " I told him. He looked at me , " finn you and I both know rachels hard to persuade. " he said " listen Mr.shue , I know its going to be hard but I just don't want her to get hurt . Please she'll listen to you . " I begged. " okay I'll talk to her after class. " he said " thank you. " I said with a smiled and we walked out .
Rachels pov :
The bell rang and glee was over . I was packing up my stuff when Mr. Shue said, " rachel can I talk to you in my office ? " he asked me I nodded yes and we walked into his office . I sat down , " so what is this about ? " I asked " well I heard from finn that you found your birth mom. " he told me . I sighed and said , " I knew I shouldn't have told him. " "rachel listen I dont think that you should do this . " he told me . I rolled my eyes , " and why not ? " I asked " because what happens if she's not what you think ? " he asked " Mr.shue , you've known mr for about 3 years and you know that I always go with my gut right? " I asked he nodded agreeing with me . " well mr.shue my gut is telling me that this is right . I need to know who she is shes the closest thing I have to family . I know I'm being risky but isn't that a good thing ? " I asked . " yes but , " I interrupted him , " no ,no buts . This is right and I dont care what anyone says . This is my life I need to take control of it . " I told him then walked out .
