"My stomach still hurts." I say, leaning against the counter.
"Well, it's only been an hour." My mom shrugs.
I pout while rubbing my stomach, "Yeah."
"Just watch TV." She shrugs.
Daniel left a while ago to do whatever. I sit on the couch and stare at the TV.
"What do you want to eat?" She asks.
I look over to this crazy person, "I'm not hungry."
She rolls her eyes, "Fine." She sighs.
I lay down on the couch and place my arms behind my head.
"You look too comfortable." She says leaning over my head.
"You can never be too comfortable." I shrug.
I continue to watch TV until I get super tired and decide to go to my room.
"Goodnight!" Mom calls.
"I didn't say I was going to bed." I say.
"You'll pass out." She says.
I smile and walk into my room, Closing the door behind me. I take off my shirt and walk to my bed.
Hey - D
Oh shit.
I look out the window to see his curtains closed.
Hi - Me
What're you up to Princess? - D
Not telling right now - Me
Why? - D
I pull off my pants and put on a pair of pajama shorts.
Because I was changing - Me
Oh - D
I look out the window to see him peak through the curtains.
Perv - Me
Shut up, you're practically mine - D
You wish - Me
At least I get to see your top half - D
Ew, I'm putting on a shirt -Me
I pull a black spaghetti strap out of my dresser and slip it on while glaring at him through the window.
You're rude - D
You're creepy - Me
Goodnight - D
I'm not going to sleep - Me
Why Princess? - D
I'm just kidding, good night - Me
I turn off my phone and watch as his lights turn off and the curtains close. Grabbing my thick, jean jacket off of my chair, I pop my window open. The wind ripples through my hair as I climb to the top. I shiver as I make myself comfortable and look up at the sky.
"Hey." A familiar voice calls.
He lays next to me with a smile.
"Hi Danny." I roll my eyes.
"So, goodnight?" He asks.
"It's not your problem." I shrug, trying to count the stars.
"I care about you." He admits, looking over at me.
I turn toward him but scoot away so our noses don't touch.
"Why?" I ask.
"Because you're my friend." He says.
I can't hold my smile, "Stop that!" I say blushing.
"What?" He chuckles.
"Being nice." I say, "It's a lot easier to hate you."
"You've hated me before?" He asks.
"Fine, disliked." I clarify with a smirk.
"Do you dislike me right now?" He asks propping himself on his elbow.
I look up at him, the wind blows his hair around making me smile.
I shake my head, "No."
"When did you start coming up here?" He asks.
"I did it at all of my houses, though tonight is the first time." I say.
I sit up in a criss-cross position and look up.
"Can I make it special?" He asks.
I look over at him, "How would you do that?"
He cups my face and pulls me into him. My lips dance with his as I lean into him more. His arms find their way around my back and I'm now on top of him. I pull away and look down at his smiling face.
"That's not new." I say.
"I like it." He shrugs before pulling me in again.
I lean down but my arms hold me from putting my entire body onto him. This shouldn't be happening but I'll let it.
"Can we get off of the damn roof?" He whispers.
I laugh and stand, "Okay."
He follows me down and I slip through my bedroom window.
"Hey, how am I going to get in?" He asks.
"You're not." I smile.
"What? Mac!" He taps the window.
"You coming in would mean me fully letting go, I'm not ready." I say.
He nods, "Okay, kiss me one more time." He begs.
I peck his lips quickly and walk back to my bed. Stupid mistake.
