Leah woke up in an empty room, tied to a chair. At first she had no idea whether it was reality or just a realistic dream, but the pain in the back of her head immediately gave her the answer.

"So I was kidnapped last night"-she said it out loud, still in disbelief. However, she didn't panic, not with her 140+ IQ. I've played escape games before, it can't be much harder in real life, she thought. She looked around, in hope to find anything to help her escape, but the room was still empty.
"Don't even try working out an escape plan, Einstein. The only exit is the door, which is obviously locked, so game over."

Leah turned her head around (as much as she could) and gasped at the sight of the person standing in front of her.

"Tyler... I had a feeling you had to do something with this."
"It was my plan, to avange my best friend's death. The moment George went missing I knew you and Emmy killed him. And now you're going to pay."
"We didn't plan on killing him, it was an accident!"-Leah repeated for the 100th time-"Emmy and I were only going to torture him, but she accidentally hit him in the head and I also hit him, so she wouldn't feel guilty. And you can't blame us, George was the one who killed Emmy's sister, your girlfriend."

Tyler's face was emotionless.

"I never loved Hannah. And it's Emmy's fault she's dead. She was warned about George several times, but she was a naive bitch, who got herself in trouble."
"How could she has known that George was a psychopath? You literally make no sense"-Leah shook her head.
"Then why do you think I kidnapped you?"-Tyler raised an eyebrow-"As soon as Emmy finds out what happened to you, she's immediately going to know I did it. But since she's kinda disabled now, she can't come to save you for a while, so she's going to be mad and she's going to do anything I ask her to have you back."
"Wait, what do you mean she's disabled?"-Leah jerked her head up.
"You know what they say: break a leg..."
"You broke her leg?!"
"And her Harley, but that's not important."
"It is!"-Leah raised her voice, then cooled herself-"I mean... I'm starting to think you're not doing this for George. You might say you didn't love Hannah, but you two seemed genuinely happy. And you're blaming Emmy for her death."
"Stop this bullshit, before I do something worse than this!"-Tyler yelled, then took a deep breath-"You have no idea what you're talking about."

Leah kept her opinion to herself, because she didn't want to make things worse. But deep down she knew that behind Tyler's actions, there was a misunderstood boy with a broken heart. And that was her key to freedom...

*Meanwhile at the hospital*

"She hasn't talked in the last half an hour. It's scary"-Carlos whispered.
"I think it's hot"-James grinned.
"Just because my leg is broken, I can perfectly hear you"-Emmy crossed her arms-"And I just came up with a plan to get Leah back."
"I was thinking about it as well, but my mind wondered... to other places"-Logan coughed.
"You're gross"-Emmy rolled her eyes-"But I know you're worried about Leah as much as I am, so I'll let it slide."
"And what's the plan?"-Kendall questioned.
"Give me my phone"-Emmy extended her hand-"I'll call Leah."
"But Emmy, she's kidnapped"-Carlos reminded her.
"Just wait and see, boys"-Emmy took her phone from James and dialed Leah's number-"I'll put it on speaker."
"Emmy, what an unpleasant surprise"-Tyler's voice filled the room.
"I could say the same, asshole, but let's just skip to businness. Tell me where Leah is and give her back in one piece"-Emmy demanded.
"I have one condition: only you can come for her, without any kind of backup."
"That would be perfect, but my leg is broken and I'm going to need at least two months to heal."
"That was the point of hitting you yesterday"-Tyler explained.
"You piece of shi..."
"James, not now!"-Emmy interrupted him-"Tyler, can't we make a deal? You can't keep Leah hostage for two months."
"I can and I will. Unless..."-Tyler took a break-"Unless you do something for me."
"I don't like the sound of this"-Kendall commented.
"Me neither"-Logan agreed.
"Guys, please! I'm on the phone"-Emmy scolded them-"What do you even want from me?"
"It's a surprise, which you'll find out when you get here. If you agree to do whatever I ask you to do, you can come for Leah next week. But if you don't..."-Tyler never finished that sentence.
"Deal. Oh, and one more thing. None of this is Leah's fault, so don't you dare torture her."
"I'll think about it."
"I'm serious. The more you torture her, the more dangerous she gets"-Emmy warned him-"Need I remind you of what she did to the guy that tried to vandalize her Harley?"
"No need for that"-Tyler stopped her-"See you next week. I'll send you the adress."
"Bye, asshole!"

With that, Emmy hung up and turned to the four confused guys.

"Before you ask anything, Tyler was George's best friend and my sister's boyfriend. So I hate him."
"Do you hate him more than you hate us, or...?"-James asked.
"I don't hate you"-Emmy admitted-"I might seem distant at first, but I have my reasons."
"Distant is an understatement"-Kendall laughed.
"I wanted to go with crazy, but distant works, too"-Logan shrugged.
"If you keep complementing me like this, you will see what I look like when I'm really crazy"-Emmy furrowed her eyebrows.
"Yup, I just shitted my pants"-Carlos stated.
"Remind me why I am hanging out with you"-Emmy glanced at the ceiling and forced back a smile.
