"You said it was an emergency, so I'm here"-Emmy sat down opposite Logan at a table.
"I ordered you a shake"-Logan handed her the drink, then cleared his throat-"I need your help."
"I figured"-Emmy sipped from her milkshake-"So?"
"It's our second month anniversary with Leah and I want to do something special for her. I'm thinking of something romantic, but not too cliché."
"And you called me? I might be Leah's best friend, but I'm not good at romance, so I can't help you with this."
"You're the only one I can turn to!"-Logan complained-"Kendall's into outdoor dates, Carlos only cares about the food and James overdoes everything, so please!"
"What if we combine all of this?"-Emmy suggested-"Get food and invite Leah to a picnic to the Hollywood sign."
"And have dinner with her, while the sun sets? This is the craziest thing I've ever heard. I love it!"-Logan cheered-"I knew I called the right person. Thank you, Emmy!"
"You're welcome. Can I go now?"
"One more thing"-Logan stopped her-"Do you think it would be too soon to... you know..."
"You want to have sex with Leah?!"-Emmy raised her voice, then seeing the stares coming from every direction, she spoke quieter-"It would definetely be too soon for her. And if you dare to force her into it, I'll destroy you."
"That's not what I wanted to say, but I got the message"-Logan trembled-"I just wanted to ask if it would be too soon to tell her that I love her."

Emmy's expression softened.

"No, I think she feels the same way about you. You're her first boyfriend and I've never seen her so happy. If confessing your feelings to her could make her even happier, then please do it tonight."
"I will. Oh, I almost forgot. I know you and James haven't been going out for that long, but you should tell him about you moving back to Vegas."
"I was about to talk to him, when I got your message"-Emmy smiled-"I wanted to tell him that I'll stay here. For good."
"Really? That's awesome!"-Logan's eyes widened-"Go, don't keep him waiting!"
"You're the one keeping your girlfriend waiting"-Emmy reminded him-"Start preparing for the date, Romeo!"

With that, she left his friend and went back to her apartment, where James was already waiting for her.

"Sorry it took so long"-she greeted him with a kiss.
"What did you want to talk about? I hope it has nothing to do with the picture."
"What picture?"-Emmy raised an eyebrow.
"Carlos dared me to take a selfie with my elbow and send it to him, but I accidentally sent you"-James explained.
"What the..."-Emmy blinked-"Okay, let's move on. I wanted to talk to you about something serious that has nothing to do with your elbow selfie."
"Should I be worried?"-James looked at her.
"No, it's just...-"Emmy took a deep breath-"As you know, Leah's starting university next month, so it was her choice to move here. After everything that's happened, I was so lost that I wanted to move back to my parents to figure things out."
"What changed?"
"I fell in love with LA. It feels more of a home than Vegas for some reason. Plus after I met you and the guys, I couldn't just leave you."
"So you're staying"-James grinned.
"I still don't know what I'm going to do with my life, but this is the only thing I know for sure"-Emmy answered and wrapped her arms around his shoulders-"I hope you're not bored of me, because I won't be leaving anytime soon."
"I could never be bored of you"-James stated, pulling her closer to himself-"Not everyone has a killer girlfriend like me. Wait, that came out wrong."
"It really did"-Emmy shook her head, half laughing.

Meanwhile, Logan sent Carlos to shop for food and asked Kendall for a blanket and a basket.

"Why are you texting like you're life's on the line?"-Leah questioned-"Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I just needed to settle a few things. But I'm all yours now"-Logan put his arm around her-"Have you got plans tonight?"
"Well, I was thinking of rewatching The Harley Davidson Story, but if you have a better idea, share it with me."
"We could go out tonight. I know a good place, which you will love. I hope."
"Are you planning a surprise for me?"-Leah's eyes lit up.
"What?-"Logan panicked-"No, of course not. I mean..."
"You are such a bad liar"-Leah waved her hand-"But don't worry, I won't try to guess what the surprise is. Just tell me a hint, like what to wear."
"Whatever you feel comfortable in"-Logan shrugged-"You can come naked, if you want."
"Logan!"-Leah hit his arm, as her face turned red.
"I was just kidding"-Logan said. Or not, he added in himself.
"Here's the food"-Carlos stormed in, then, seeing Leah, corrected himself-"Which I'm going to wolf down tonight."
"I'll kill you"-Logan mouthed.
"Sorry"-Carlos extended his arms.

*Later that day*

"I packed everything in it"-Carlos gave Logan the basket-"I might've stolen a ham."
"I would punch you, but I don't want my shirt to be crumpled."
"And I got the blanket"-Kendall held up his old, checked blanket-"Take good care of it, I'm going to need it back."
"Got it"-Logan saluted-"Thanks for the help, guys. But now go, before Leah sees you."
"Have fun!"-Kendall waved him goodbye.

The moment Kendall and Carlos disappeared in the building, Leah walked out, wearing a flowery summer dress.

"You never wear things like this"-Logan commented-"Not that I'm complaining, you look beautiful, I'm just not used to this from you."
"Thank Emmy, she insisted on me wearing this dress. Does she know something about the surprise?"
"Why would she?"-Logan lied.

They got in Logan's car and a long, messy Los Angeles traffic later, they arrived at the secret location.

"The view is breathtaking!"-Leah gasped-"I should've brought my pencils, this needs to be drawn."
"I'm glad you like it. Shall we eat?"
"Yeah, I'm starving."

Logan placed the blanket on the grass and opened the basket.

"That idiot stole two hams!"-he cursed.
"Carlos? What did you expect from him?"
"To be honest, I expected him not to eat other's food for once"-Logan rolled his eyes-"He even almost told you the surprise."
"Logan, you're still trying so hard to impress me"-Leah put her hand on his-"Relax a bit, it's our second month anniversary."
"You remembered?"
"Of course I did. And I brought you something"-Leah reached for her bag-"Here."

Logan stared at the drawing of him on a Harley Davidson in amazement.

"I drew it after James almost killed you"-Leah told him-"I was upset and I couldn't stop thinking about you almost getting hurt, so it inspired me to create this. I know it's not that good, and the shadows are a bit off..."
"I love it"-Logan interrupted her-"And I love you."

Leah couldn't speak for a half minute. Logan thought he'd messed up, and that she was going to leave, but the opposite happened.

"I love you, too"-Leah whispered, then leaned over to kiss him and the fireworks exploded. Literally.
"I swear I didn't arrange this"-Logan defended himself.
"I wouldn't be surprised"-Leah chuckled and kissed him again. And again...
"I also got you something"-Logan pulled away from her.
"What?"

Logan took a box out of his pocket. There was a little silver necklace in it, with the letter H.

"It's beautiful, but why did you choose this letter?"-Leah asked in confusion.
"My real name is Hortense. Plus you told me that Harley was like a lover to you, so I thought this would be more appropriate"-Logan picked up the necklace-"Can I?"

Leah nodded, then turned around, so Logan could put the necklace on her.

"This is the best date of my life"-Leah sighed-"Thank you. For eveything."
