"Logan, I need your help"-James stormed into the girls' apartment.
"God, I can't even hug Leah now without any of you interrupting us?"-Logan rolled his eyes.
"There's no time for this, we need to come up with a plan fast."
"I think I'll leave you two to it"-Leah said.
"You can stay, your IQ is above 140, we might need that"-James stopped her.
"Okay, what is it? You sound serious"-Leah sat him down.

James told them everything about his chat with Nicole and showed them the letters. But the genius couple had two very different opinions about the case.

"I think Nicole is just messing with you"-Logan explained-"Why would Tyler come back all of a sudden and leave Emmy these letters? Plus it's strange that Nicole was the one who found the letters under the girls' doorstep, when Leah was here all along and would've immediately noticed them."
"I don't know what any of this is about, I just know that I can't let anything bad happen to Emmy"-James crossed his arms.
"There's nothing to worry about, dude. It was just Nicole's sick prank"-Logan patted his shoulder.
"I disagree"-Leah spoke-"I mean, what Logan said makes sense, but I actually think that Nicole's planning something and she made this up to fool you."
"So you think my solution's too simple?"-Logan raised an eyebrow.
"No, I'm just saying that Nicole told me something about avanging what James did to her, and I just have this bad feeling. Maybe you were right about her being mental..."
"Yeah, it was weird that she wanted to discuss this whole thing at 3 AM"-James nodded.
"She broke into our apartment?!"-Logan jumped up-"That girl is a psycho!"
"Hey guys"-Emmy walked in-"Guess who's just moved out? That bitch Nicole. I had to go and say goodbye."
"You showed her your middle finger, didn't you?"-Leah asked, already knowing the answer.
"Hey, it's still better than Mama Panya's idea to throw tomatoes at her"-Emmy shrugged, before sitting down next to James-"Mama Panya said that we could go on a double date with her and Carlos tonight, what do you say?"
"You're not going anywhere"-James stated.
"What?"
"You heard me. I have plans with you"-James winked at her.
"Didn't you have enough of your 'plans' in Italy?"-Emmy grinned.
"And she calls us lovebirds"-Logan shook his head.
"Shut up, Romeo. I'm trying to be serious here"-Emmy turned back to James-"Look, tonight would be really important to both Mama Panya and I, because..."
"Okay, I get it. Let's do this"-James interrupted her, because he didn't want to explain to her that her life is probably in danger, so it would be the best if she didn't go anywhere.
"Well, that was easy"-Emmy was surprised-"I'll go and tell Mama Panya that we're in. I'll be right back."

As soon as Emmy left the room, James commented:

"I can't say no to her, can I?"
"Look, I don't think that something bad is going to happen on this date"-Leah tried to calm him-"Emmy's safe as long as she's not left alone."
"How do you even know?"-Logan scoffed.
"You said yourself: I'm always right"-Leah striked back with the sentence that nobody could argue with.

*Later that day*

"You're not wearing that to your date, are you?"-Kendall grimaced, when he saw Carlos posing in front of the mirror in his dirty clothes.
"Are you telling me that I should change?"
"I suggest, or else you'll be thrown out of the restaurant."
"Panya loves me, no matter what I wear or don't wear"-Carlos defended himself.

Kendall hit his forehead.

"Just don't go out looking homeless, is that so much to ask for?"
"Okay, I'll change, but not because you told me to, but because I want to impress Mama Panya"-Carlos made his way to his room.
"Don't forget to shower!"-Kendall yelled after him.
"Shut up, you're not my mother!"
"You're right, but your girlfriend is!"-Kendall reminded him.

After Carlos and the other participants of the date got ready, they finally departed. The dinner went smoothly, apart from the judging glares coming from everywhere (Mama Panya didn't look much older than Carlos, but her nickname gave her away).

"I can get used to this"-Mama Panya reassured the others and herself-"I'll just pretend that they're jealous of me for dating Carlos."
"It's not much much better"-Emmy waved her hand-"James and I run into fans a lot, who seem nice, but a few minutes later, they send me dead threaths on Instagram for stealing their 'boyfriend'."
"You know what I always say: don't give a shit about them. And from now on, I will take my own advice and ignore those judgy bitches."
"Until this moment I didn't even realise how similar you two are"-Carlos commented.
"She's her mother's daughter"-Mama Panya smiled proudly-"She only got her indecisiveness and her eyes from David."
"Can we stop talking about me?"-Emmy cut in-"You always do this, Mama Panya. I bet you were going to tell the boys some embarassing childhood stories."
"You can tell us when she's not around"-James whispered.
"I heard that"-Emmy glared at him-"And I wouldn't talk in your place, since you were clearly dropped on your head."
"I wasn't!"-James argued-"How else would I be so handsome then?"
"See, this is what I'm talking about"-Emmy told the others, pointing at her boyfriend.
"But that's how we love James"-Carlos put his hand on his heart.
"Don't even let me get started on you, Mr. Put-a-carrot-in-my-nostril."
"What?"-Mama Panya laughed.
"Emmy, you weren't supposed to tell her that!"-Carlos' face reddened-"She thinks I'm a mature, sexy latino."
"Dude, you're none of those things"-James disillusioned him-"Expect the latino."
"I want to hear that carrot story"-Mama Panya demanded, so Carlos had no choice but to tell her.
"I understand if you think I'm an idiot and that you wanna break up with me, but..."
"You really are an idiot"-Mama Panya held his hand-"But you're my idiot."
"Aww"-Carlos swooned, before pulling her in for a makeout session.
"Why do you never tell me things like this?"-James glanced at Emmy.
"Because I'm not sappy. But fine, if you insist... You're the reason I don't know what to do with my life."
"What? How is that supposed to sound romantic?"
"You didn't let me finish. Because instead of figuring out what to do, I was figuring out ways to get back with you"-Emmy lowered her voice-"And I'm only telling you this because I love you and I don't want you to ever doubt that."
"I didn't doubt it for a second"-James kissed her-"I love you, too."

*After the date*

Once again, the night has fallen. James and Emmy were lying in his bed after you know exactly what. There was a comfortable silence between them, which was interrupted by the beeping of Emmy's phone.

"Who's texting me this late?"-Emmy reached for her phone and looked at it-"Oh, crap."
"What is it?"-James questioned.
"Leah texted me to get back ASAP, because she thinks someone broke in."
"Should I come with you to make sure you two are safe?"-James offered.
"James, I killed my ex, I think I can handle this. But thanks for offering"-Emmy kissed his cheek, after putting her clothes back on-"Good night."
"Good night, Em."

Emmy tiptoed through the guys' apartment, then not so quietly barged into her own.

"Leah, I'm here!"-she shouted, but no answer came. And that's when she heard the strange noises coming from Leah's room. She's having sex with Logan, she couldn't have written that text. Then who did? The girl suddenly realised that she was in danger. She turned around to see if her baseball bat was near, but instead she found herself facing one of her biggest enemies.
"Didn't expect me, did you, bitch?"

And before Emmy could answer, she was hit in the head and everything went black...
