"It's time, guys"-Emmy stated one day.

Three pairs of eyes looked at her questioningly.

"Time for what?"-Carlos asked.
"To save Leah"-Logan stepped into the room, dressed like a commando.
"You can go back and change, because you're not coming with me"-Emmy said.
"How are you planning to go there, then?"-Kendall raised an eyebrow-"You can barely walk and you can't even defend yourself."
"That's why I'm taking James"-Emmy pointed at the guy, who grinned with satisfaction.
"Why can't we all come?"-Logan argued-"I'm sure Leah wants us all there, especially me."
"Because I'm supposed to go there alone, but since I'm disabled, I'm going to need someone strong to help me, like James. Plus if I bring all of you, you're going to make a mess."
"And you should give us some alone time"-James added, winking at Emmy.
"Okay, you can come, too"-the girl changed her mind-"But if you don't behave, I'll hit you with my crutch."
"Got it"-Carlos saluted.
"You're going to regret this, Em"-James shook his head.
"Let's get to the point"-Kendall suggested-"What's the plan?"
"Tyler sent me the adress, but you have to drop me off a bit further"-Emmy showed the location on her phone-"James and I will go there, I'll call Tyler, then in exchange for Leah, I have to do something. And if everything goes right, the three of us will come back to you in one piece."
"And if Leah's still up for it, I'll take her on a date tonight"-Logan put his hand on his heart-"I've planned everything."
"Who cares, Romeo?"-Emmy rolled her eyes-"I'll get my gun and we can go."
"No, you're not murdering another guy"-Kendall stopped her.
"Relax, I only need it for protection, if James is useless"-Emmy calmed the guy.
"Do these muscles seem useless to you?"-James flexed his arms-"I work out every morning."
"In certain situations, being strong is not enough"-Emmy grabbed her gun-"You gotta use the weapon."
"Can you teach me how to use it?"-Carlos' eyes lit up.
"I would, but you're irresponsible. And you'd never use a gun, since you couldn't hurt a fly."

The team finally departed. Kendall sat by the wheel, next to James, who constantly switched from one radio station to another. In the back, Carlos annoyed Logan by kicking him, while Emmy was filling her gun.

"And now, here's Big Time Rush's brand new single, Love Me Love Me"-the man in the radio spoke.
"So that's why you were switching radio stations"-Kendall nodded.
"Gustavo said our new song would be on the radio for the first time today, but I didn't know which radio"-James explained.
"Who's Gustavo?"-Emmy questioned.
"Do you remember Gustavo Rocque, who was the manager of the band called Boys in the Attic? Well, he's our manager now"-Logan answered-"And the rest is history."
"Guys, I can't hear the music!"-Carlos yelled and leaned forward to turn the volume up-"LOVE ME, LOVE ME, SAY YOU'RE GONNA LOVE MEEE!!!"
"Dear Lord"-Emmy laughed-"How are you even a singer?"
"Please, I give concerts in sold out arenas... and in the shower."
"You don't wanna know what it's like to wake up to Carlos screaming in the bathroom"-Logan trembled-"Terrifying."
"Maybe that's why everyone dumps him"-James shrugged. Carlos hit his arm.
"Guys, I can't really focus on driving in these circumstances. So stop!"-Kendall scolded them.
"He's always this grumpy when he's driving"-Logan whispered to Emmy.
"I heard that, Logan Mitchell!"
"He starts yelling our full names"-James continued.
"Once he was so mad at me that he said all of my middle names"-Carlos remembered-"And believe me, I have a lot."
"Travelling with you is a whole new experience"-Emmy leaned back on her seat-"It makes me forget about the awful pain in my leg."
"And why does it hurt? Because you should be resting, but instead you're sitting here in an uncomfortable position, about to save your best friend"-Logan reminded her.
"Do you want to go home?"-Carlos looked at the girl like a worried brother.
"I'm not going home without Leah"-Emmy crossed her arms.
"Then I will carry you"-James offered.
"What a knight"-Kendall scoffed.
"Says the guy whose last name is knight"-Emmy striked back-"James might annoy me at times, but at least he's nice."
"Ha! Take that, asshole!"-James dodged Kendall's shoulder.
"Not when he's driving!"-Logan warned him-"He'll kill us all!"
"We're lucky we've just arrived"-Carlos let out a breath of relief.
"Let's go"-Emmy unfastened her seatbelt and she was about to step out of the car, when James hurried to her.
"Let me help."

James lifted Emmy up like she weighed nothing at all and carried her in bridal style.

"This is weird"-Emmy commented.
"I think it's romantic"-James disagreed-"And deep down, I know you like it."
"Keep on dreaming, James. And now, put me down, we're here."

James carefully put Emmy down, who held onto his elbow to keep her balance and called Leah's phone.

"Emmy's here"-Tyler informed Leah, after he hung up.
"Then what are we waiting for? I wanna go home"-Leah jumped up.
"Go outside, I'll come in a second."

Leah, not suspecting anything, ran outside happily. Meanwhile Tyler hid his gun in the pocket of his jacket.

"You're here"-Leah smiled widely, when she noticed Emmy and James.
"Come here"-Emmy extended her arms and she would have fallen, if James hadn't caught her-"Thank you."

Leah hugged her friends.

"I missed you so much. The others?"
"In the car"-Emmy waved her hand-"You don't wanna know what these four put me through on the way here. And in the past few days."
"You seemed to enjoy our company"-James smirked.
"Sorry to interrupt, but Emmy and I have an unfinished businness."

Tyler's voice dragged them back into reality.

"I know you told me to come alone, but I can barely walk, so..."
"I don't need your explanation"-Tyler interrupted Emmy-"Remember when I asked you to do something in exchange for Leah?"
"I do. What do you want, asshole?"

Tyler pulled out his gun.

"If you don't shoot yourself for the count of ten, I'll shoot your friends."

Emmy stared at him without blinking.

"Tyler!"-Leah gasped-"We've talked about this. You promised me you wouldn't pull anything like this."
"Well, I lied"-Tyler stepped closer to Emmy-"Have you decided yet?"
"You can't fool me!"-Leah hissed-"I was stuck with you for a week and you opened up to me about everything that happened in Vegas. You can't tell me none of it was real!"
"Even if it was, I changed my mind. I want her dead"-Tyler gestured at Emmy with his gun-"The only way this madness will be over is if the cause of it dies."
"Fine. I'll kill myself."
"What?!"-James turned Emmy around-"You're kidding, right?"

Emmy didn't answer. Instead, she took the gun from Tyler and held it to her forehead.

"Start counting, Tyler."
"One... two... three..."
"What are you doing?"-Leah mouthed.
"Four... five... six..."
"Is this a part of a plan? Emmy, answer!"-Leah gripped her arm.
"Seven... eight... nine..."

Before Tyler could finish, James knocked him out. Emmy threw the gun.

"Woah!"-Leah blinked-"Did you plan this?"
"No"-Emmy glanced at James-"I didn't think you'd save me."
"Of course I did. I couldn't let you kill yourself."
"I was going to shoot him in the nuts, but maybe your solution is better."
"Guys, I hate to ruin your moment, but maybe we should go"-Leah cleared her throat.
"You're right"-Emmy agreed-"Bring Tyler inside, we can't leave him here."

After this was done, they went back to the car. The three guys greeted Leah and Logan asked her out again.

"I was thinking we could go out tonight, but I get it if you wanna spend it with all of us or just Emmy."
"You guys can go out and have fun"-Emmy reassured them-"I was planning to rest anyway."
"Then I guess it's a date"-Leah told Logan cheerfully.
