While Emmy and James' friendship was back to normal (or something like that), Leah and Logan began fighting more often. Both of them were busy with their lives, meaning they had a lot less time for each other, and whenever Logan tried to take things to the next level, Leah always freaked out.

"Logan, we can't. It's not that I don't trust you, we've been together for over a year, but I'm just not ready."
"That's understandable, and as I said, I will wait for you"-Logan reassured her for the millionth time.
"I'm just afraid that at some point, you won't have the patience for me anymore"-Leah looked away-"You could have anyone, yet you're waiting for someone like me. I don't deserve this."
"Of course you do, Leah. And I don't care about other girls, just you, okay?"-Logan held her hand-"I love you."
"I love you, too"-Leah kissed him.
"How sweet!"-Emmy's sarcastic voice dragged them back into reality.
"Hello to you too, Emmy"-Logan rolled his eyes-"We were having a moment, in case you didn't notice."
"Chill, Romeo. I just came here to announce that I'm going on a date tonight, so I won't be thirdwheeling anymore."
"What?"-Leah blinked-"Tell me you didn't use some dating app."
"Yeah, because I'm that type of girl"-Emmy scoffed-"You've been nagging me to come with you on your dates, so I finally found myself someone."
"Don't you think this attempt is a little desperate?"-Logan asked.
"If you mean that I did this to make James jealous, you're wrong"-Emmy crossed her arms-"I don't give a shit about him or his relationship."
"And what if we're going on a triple date?"-Logan raised an eyebrow.
"Then I'll happily bring my date"-Emmy smiled-"See you tonight, lovebirds."

With that, she ran off to somewhere. Leah glanced at Logan meaningfully.

"Care to explain all of this?"
"I don't think Nicole is the right girl for James"-Logan stated-"First of all, she's creeping me out for some reason, but not the way Emmy does. Second, I know that deep down, Emmy and James still care about each other, and I want to give them a push."
"I'm not sure this is a good idea"-Leah shook her head-"And what do you mean Nicole's creeping you out? She's a nice girl."
"She seems a little too obsessed with James."
"Because she was just a fan of him before they started dating"-Leah reminded him.
"I just have a bad feeling about her, that's all"-Logan shrugged-"But maybe I'm overreacting."

Meanwhile, Emmy repeatedly knocked on the guys' apartment's door.

"What is it?"-Kendall tore the door open.
"Nice lipstick"-Emmy teased him-"Did I just interrupt a make out session between you and Katelyn?"
"Get to the point, Emmy."
"I need to talk to Carlos now, where is he?"
"Here"-he appeared next to Kendall-"I didn't know you were using makeup, dude."
"Stop!"-Kendall hissed.
"We're done teasing you, don't worry"-Emmy patted his shoulder-"Carlos, come with me!"

They hid in the janitor's closet.

"If I didn't know you, I'd think you dragged me here to make out"-Carlos spoke-"But it's about the plan, isn't it?"

Emmy nodded.

"Logan invited us on a triple date, as I expected. But we didn't talk about the details, like will you come in disguise, or will we pretend that we're on a blind date?"
"James would recognise me immediately and would be twice as mad, if we lied to him about this, too. So let's stick to plan B, aka the blind date."
"Okay. Do you think this will work?"-Emmy lowered her voice-"I already feel ridiculous and pathetic for pulling a stunt like this."
"You're not ridiculous, I think everyone wants you two to get back together"-Carlos reassured her-"Even James. Do you remember how mad he got the last time?"
"How could I forget? That was the moment I knew I had to get him back"-Emmy said with determination-"Let's do this."

That evening, Logan reserved a table for six. Emmy texted that she and her partner would be running late, so they shouldn't wait for them.

"I have no idea where Emmy and her date are, so we should order"-Logan suggested.
"Since when does she have a boyfriend?"-James furrowed his eyebrows.
"It's a blind date, but we invited them"-Leah explained-"Look, there they are. Oh my..."

They turned to the entrance's direction and their mouths fell open. Carlos had his arm around Emmy's waist in a casual way, and they looked like they were laughing at something.

"You've got to be kidding me"-James muttered.
"Hi guys!"-Emmy waved to them-"You're not going to believe what happened."
"I'm her blind date!"-Carlos cheered.
"I knew you guys would look cute together. Come, have a seat"-Nicole invited them nicely.

They sat down, so that Emmy was facing James. However, he didn't pay much attention to her, because he was busy trying to murder Carlos with his glare.

"We met at the hall and seeing how we were both dressed up, we knew we were each other's blind dates. And I don't mind that it turned out this way."
"Me neither"-Emmy winked at Carlos-"At least we can skip the awkward get to know each other part and get to the point."

Leah and Logan looked at each other knowingly.

"Not wanting to make James jealous my ass"-Logan whispered-"Should we intervene?"
"Maybe we should, before things go out of hand"-Leah agreed, then raised her voice-"Have you guys decided what to eat?"
"I'm trying to decide between two salads"-Nicole answered-"James, which one do you think is better?"
"Definetely not the Spanish one."
"Spanish things are said to be delicious"-Emmy disagreed-"Am I right, Carlos?"
"You arrgghh!!!"-he shouted-"Why the hell did you kick me, dude?!"
"I have no idea what you're talking about"-James lied.
"Can I help you?"-the waitress interrupted the chaos.
"Yes, we'd like to order"-Leah took the lead.

While their orders were taken, they remained calm, but the moment the waitress left, it started all over again.

"I don't even know why we ordered food, when we can just skip to the dessert"-Carlos grinned at Emmy.
"Guys, quit flirting, we're here, too"-Logan cut in.
"Thank you"-James mouthed.
"Why do they bother you so much?"-Nicole questioned him.
"They're just annoying with this endless flirting, that's all. It's not like I'm jealous or something."
"I hope not"-Nicole kissed his cheek.
"Disgusting"-Emmy coughed. Leah dodged her shoulder.
"You've taken it a bit too far, don't you think?"
"What are you talking about? This was just the warming up."
"I know you have no bad intentions, but this isn't going to end well, if you don't stop now"-Leah warned her-"You don't want to lose James again, do you?"
"Of course I don't. And you're right again, as always"-Emmy sighed-"I'll talk to Carlos."
"I heard everything"-he leaned to them-"From now on, we'll act normal."

And they did exactly that, until the food arrived and they started eating. Leah ordered everyone a big pizza (plus a Spanish salad for Nicole), so they couldn't eat very elegantly.

"Logan, your shirt!"-Leah hit her forehead.
"Stupid tomato souce!"-the guy cursed.
"You're such a pig"-Emmy chuckled, seeing Carlos' face covered in tomato souce and God knows what else.
"I'm just eating"-he defended himself-"And I wouldn't talk in your place. There's a little sauce in the corner of your mouth. Let me wipe it off."

Carlos grabbed a napkin and gently wiped Emmy's mouth. James was watching this simple movement with boiling blood and the next thing he knew, he jumped up and yelled:

"Okay, that was enough!"

And in a matter of seconds, Carlos and him were fighting in the middle of the restaurant.

"I knew it would end like this"-Leah turned to Emmy-"Why didn't you stop?"
"We didn't even do this on purpose!"
"Are you sure? 'Cuz it worked really well"-Logan commented-"And now they're fighting over you."
"Seperate them already!"-Leah ordered him.
"I don't wanna get involved..."
"Fine, I'll do it instead, you wimp"-Emmy pushed Logan away and stepped to James and Carlos-"If you two don't stop fighting now, I'll break your balls!"

They finally let go of each other. Carlos seemed a bit terrified, but James' face was unreadable. He stared into Emmy's eyes for a whole minute, then stormed off.

"James, I..."-Emmy started.
"Save it!"-he slammed the door behind himself.
"You're a bitch, Emmy"-Nicole spat and followed her boyfriend.
