"Woah, where are you going with those bags?"-Logan got in Emmy and Leah's way in the corridor.
"We're visting our parents"-Leah reminded him-"I've told you about a million times."
"I didn't really listen, I was busy staring at your..."
"Don't you dare finish that sentence!"-Emmy warned him.
"I was going to say eyes, you dirty-minded"-Logan lied.
"Yeah, right"-Emmy scoffed-"Just say your goodbyes, lovebirds, we need to hurry."
"See you in a few days, Hortense"-Leah put her arms around Logan's neck and kissed him.
"You should call me Hortense more often, it turns me on"-he winked at her, after they finished with their makeout session.
"You're so romantic it's almost gross"-Emmy grimaced-"Bye, Logan. Tell the guys I said hi."

Emmy and Leah made their way to the exit, but when they almost stepped out the door, James ran to them... shirtless.

"You're not moving out, are you?"
"Just because we're going around with bags, we're not moving out"-Emmy rolled her eyes-"Why is everybody asking that?"
"We're visting our parents, but we'll be back in a few days"-Leah told the story again.
"Then have fun"-James waved to them and turned to leave.
"James, wait!"-Emmy grabbed his elbow-"After we come back, can we talk about... well, everything?"
"That would be the best"-James agreed-"Wow, it really got hot in here, or is it just me? I'll jump into the pool. Bye, girls!"

And he did exactly that. After Emmy finished staring after him, she and Leah hopped on their Harleys and didn't stop until Las Vegas.

"Home sweet home... or something like that"-Emmy took off her helmet-"I'm not sure I'm ready to talk to my parents."
"You'll be fine, I'm sure they've forgiven you a long time ago"-Leah reassured her.
"They didn't visit me, when I needed them the most"-Emmy looked away-"I mean, what a disappointment it could've been to them that their only living daughter is a criminal?"
"George's death was an accident, which happened because you were trying to serve justice for Hannah. I think deep down, they appreciate it."
"I hope you're right again"-Emmy sighed, then walked to her parents' house-"Here goes nothing."

She rang the bell three times, but when there was still no answer, she decided to leave.

"Emmy?"-Mama Panya's voice stopped her.
"I came back to say I'm sorry"-Emmy spoke-"I don't know what came over me when I did what I did. Maybe I'm just as fucked up as everyone thinks I am. I don't deserve to be your daughter, but I miss you so much and I..."

Her voice broke. Mama Panya hugged her without a word, and her husband followed her example.

"You're not fucked up"-Mama Panya repeated-"You're so far from fucked up, Emmy. You might've shocked us, but we still love you the same."
"Then why couldn't you come at least once?"-Emmy sobbed-"Have you got any idea what it was like to spend a year locked up, far away from everyone I loved?"
"We're so sorry, honey"-her father stroked her hair-"We know we should've come, but we didn't want to see you suffer."
"Let's go inside"-Mama Panya suggested-"Leah, you can come as well."
"Maybe I'll join you later, but I have to talk to Mum."
"She's working till late"-Emmy's father waved his hand-"Come on."

They sat down in the living room and while Mama Panya was preparing food, Emmy's father questioned the two girls about their life in Los Angeles.

"How near is the beach?"
"It's not that near, since we live almost in the city centre"-Leah explained-"It takes about fifteen minutes by car to get there. Plus we have a big pool at Palmwoods, so we mostly chill there."
"That's not what you really wanted to ask, Dad"-Emmy furrowed her eyebrows-"You always do this. Whenever you want to talk about something personal, you start asking these random questions."
"I gladly answer to anything"-Leah raised a hand in defence-"But Emmy's right, Mr. Stone. What did you really want to ask?"
"About boys"-he admitted-"I know that it's weird to talk about boys with a father, but trust me, I was once young and..."
"Cut the crap, David!"-Mama Panya arrived with a plate full of sandwiches-"You just want to know the dirty details."
"Mama Panya, I think you're the one wanting to know the dirty details"-Emmy took a sandwich-"But my love life is non-existent, so let's move on to Leah."
"What kind of friend are you?"-Leah dodged her shoulder-"Just because your love life is complicated right now, you can't just ignore it."
"What happened?"-Mama Panya leaned forward, like a ravenous reporter.

So Emmy had no choice but to tell her and James' story to her parents. Mama Panya was enthusiastic as always, especially after findig out who James really is (she was a huge Big Time Rush fan), but David hated him from the second Emmy said his name.

"I'm glad you and him broke up, a guy like him doesn't deserve my daughter."
"David!"-Mama Panya hit his arm-"He obviously made Emmy happy, you should be rooting for them to get back together! Nicole can rot in hell."
"Mama Panya!"-Leah laughed.
"That's why I love you!"-Emmy high fived with her mother-"But enough about me. Leah, time to talk about Loggie Bear."
"As in Logan Mitchell?"-Mama Panya gasped-"Leave at least one Big Time Rush member for me, please!"
"Carlos is still single"-Emmy shrugged.
"Good, he's my favourite"-Mama Panya grinned.
"Should I be jealous?"-Mr. Stone crossed his arms.
"Of course not"-Mama Panya lowered her voice-"Or maybe yes, because he's my celebrity crush."
"Panya!"-Mr. Stone shook his head in disbelief.
"Okay, I stopped"-Mama Panya chuckled-"Let's hear how Logan Mitchell is in bed."
"Uhm, we didn't..."-Leah's face reddened-"I mean..."
"Was that really necessary?"-Emmy raised an eyebrow-"Now she's in shock."

In that moment, Mama Panya's phone started ringing.

"It's your mother"-she informed Leah, picking the phone up-"Hello?"

The smile froze on her face. The others had no idea what the call was about, but they all could feel that it was nothing good. After Mama Panya finally finished, everyone started attacking her with questions, expect Leah, because somewhere inside her, she knew the answer.

"Will you let me speak?"-Mama Panya raised her voice-"It's important."
"She died, didn't she?"-Leah whispered.
"She was drunk driving and she crashed into someone"-Mama Panya answered-"I'm so sorry, honey."
"I need to go"-Leah stood up.
"Should I come with you?"-Emmy offered.
"No, I want to be alone for a while."

With that, Leah stormed out of the house and ran into her own. The usual smell of alcohol welcomed her, plus the empty bottles on the floor.

"Why?!"-she screamed, kicking one of the bottles, then collapsed on the floor and began crying-"Why, Mum?"

Emmy didn't go after Leah to comfort her, because she could imagine what she was going through, since she has lost a loved one before. Instead, she called the one person, who could always make Leah feel better.

"Hi Logan!"
"Hey! What's up?"
"Leah's mother just died in an accident and Leah doesn't want to talk to anyone. This is completely understandable, but if we leave her alone for too long, she'll distance us"-Emmy filled him in-"I need you to..."
"I'll get the guys and we'll pack our bags"-Logan stated.
"Thank you"-Emmy let out a breath of relief-"You know you're probably the best guy Leah could ever have, right?"
"Was that a compliment?"-Logan choked.
"Asshole"-Emmy hung up.

Needless to say: the guys came as fast as they could, and not exactly four hours later, they parked in front of Emmy's house.

"Where's Leah?"-Logan asked as soon as he jumped out of the car.
"Probably in there"-Emmy pointed at Leah's house and Logan stormed off.
"And who's that hottie on your doorstep?"-Carlos took off his sunglasses to check Mama Panya (!) out.
"That's my mother, you idiot!"-Emmy slapped him.
"Emmy, why are you hurting Carlos Garcia?"-Mama Panya scolded her-"Come on, young man, let me take care of you."
"I like the sound of that"-Carlos cheered and followed her.
"That was the weirdest thing I've ever seen in my life"-James commented-"I need a drink."
"Me too, driving with these three was tiring"-Kendall said.
"Be prepared, because Dad's gonna attack you"-Emmy patted James' shoulder.
"What did I get myself into?"
